No-Time-Limit-Match:
Big Boss Man pinned Marty Jannetty with the Boss Man Slam in 0:13:03.
Rating: *
**Opening match saw the Boss Man end his 6 match losing streak by defeating Marty Jannetty.
Jannetty came close to winning this one after he took the Boss Man down with a missle dropkick
from the top rope. But the Boss Man managed to roll out of the ring before Jannetty could
go for the pin and regrouped. After the Boss Man re-entered Jannetty bounced off the ropes and
hit him with a running shoulder block that staggered him. But Marty went for a second one and
the Boss Man sidesteped and caught Jannetty in the Sidewalk slam for the win.**
No-Time-Limit-Match:
Crowbar pinned Eddie Guerrero with the Inverted DDT in 0:14:37.
Rating: **** 1/4
(Crowbar won the WWF Lightweight Title.)
**One of the best matches of the night saw Crowbar become the new Lightweight champion in an
epic battle. Guerrero almost retained his title after he hit Crowbar with his airplane spin
into a neckbreaker manouver, but surprisingly Crowbar got the shoulder up.
Crowbar and Guerrero then continued the fight for a while longer until Crowbar gained the upper
hand after a series of great high risk moves. Crowbar acted as if he was in a hardcore match
rather then a lightweight match as he dived from the inside to the outside on numerous times
to attack Guerrero. Eventually he drilled Eddie with an Inverted DDT for the win.**
No-Time-Limit-Triangle Match:
Allied Powers (Christian/Edge/Kurt Angle) defeated
T&A (Al Snow, Test and Val Venis) and
Foreign Fanatics (Essa Rios, Shoichi Funaki and Taka Michinoku):
x Edge beat Snow via the Downward Spiral in 0:07:15
x Christian beat Michinoku via a vertical facebuster in 0:17:28
Rating: * 1/2
**Good match between three of the top groups in the WWF today. The shock had to be when T & A
where eliminated first as most people picked the Foreign Fanatics as the underdogs. Venis and
Test worked well in their unit but Al Snow had a real bad night as he made plenty of mistakes
which helped the Powers & Fanatics to dominate them. In fact it was Al Snow who caused his
team to be eliminated after all nine men dived into the ring and fought it out. Snow picked
up Head and swung for Essa Rios but he turned around into Edge's waiting arms and got hit with
the Downward Spiral.
The match then continued for another ten minutes as the Fanatics took the Powers to the limit.
Rios/Funaki and Michinoku's smaller frames meant they could use some quick moves on the Powers
to not only wear them down but disorinate them as well. The ending came after Rios and Taka
went for a double suplex on Christian. Angle dived in and pulled Rios away with the Olympic
Slam but then got nailed by Funaki's top rope clothesline, who in turn got nailed by a Spear
from Edge leaving all four men down. Christian was then able to block Taka's suplex attempt
and lifted him up in a vertical position before dropping him with a vertical facebuster.**

FCA Cubed Match:
Crash Holly defeated Davey Boy Smith in a Hell In A Cell Hardcore Match by
pinfall after the Crashlanding in 0:06:54.
Rating: *****
(Crash Holly won the WWF HaRdCoRe Title.)
**Surprisingly this wasn't the only 5 star match of the night as Crash Holly defeated the Bulldog
in the first ever Hell In A Cell Hardcore Match. The cell was covered in various weapons which
where all used by the two men.
Davey Boy got busted up fairly early on after his Running Powerslam was countered by Crash in
to a reverse DDT onto a lead pipe. From there the Bulldog and Crash exchanged blows with
numerous weapons ranging from baking trays to singapore canes and even a trash can.
The Bulldog almost got the pin after he stuffed Crash feet first into the trash can and then
hit the delay vertical suplex on Crash (still in the can) for a near two count.
Holly was able to get the win after he hit the Crashlanding onto a steel chair to knock the
Bulldog out and win back the HaRdCoRe title that Davey Boy won on Smackdown.**
No-Time-Limit-Match:
D'Lo Brown pinned Saturn with the Lo-Down in 0:07:43.
Rating: ** 1/4
(D'Lo Brown won the WWF European Title.)
**D'Lo finally got the win over Perry Saturn to become the European champion. Saturn used his
raw power against D'Lo but it wasn't enough as D'Lo used his agility to take him down time and
time again. Despite D'Lo controlling most of the match, he couldn't seem to put Saturn away.
Eventually though Terri got involved by tripping up D'Lo and Saturn regained control. Saturn
then took control for a while longer before his backdrop attempt was converted into a Running
Powerbomb from D'Lo. But Terri had jumped up on the apron again and had drawn the referee,
Mike Keota away. D'Lo then dived up and went up to Terri shouting at her to get down, which
of course left him exposed to Saturn who ran at him from behind.
Some how D'Lo saw him and moved causing Saturn to run into Terri, knocking Terri off and Saturn
staggered back into the ring where D'Lo hit him with the Sky High. The Sky HIgh was quickly
followed up by the Lo-Down for the third new champion of the night.**

Brood Vs. Too Cool preview
Elimination No-Time-Limit-Match:
Brood (Bam Bam Bigelow, Gangrel, Gothdust and Kane) beat
Too Cool (Grandmaster Sexay, Rikishi Phatu, Billy Gunn and Scotty Too Hotty) 4
falls to 2:
x Kane beat Grandmaster Sexay via the chokeslam in 0:10:30
x Rikishi beat Gothdust via the Banzai Drop in 0:17:40
x Gangrel beat Billy Gunn via a flying bulldog in 0:18:48
x Bigelow beat Rikishi via the Greetings from Asbury Park in 0:27:18
x Scotty beat Bigelow via the Worm in 0:27:58
x Gangrel beat Scotty via a swinging neckbreaker in 0:30:45
Survivors: Gangrel, Kane
Rating: 1/4*
**The Brood gained the upper hand in this battle as the power of Kane and Bigelow was enough to
put Grandmaster away early on. The Brood dominated from the early goings with Hell Fire and
Gangrel proving that they are a force to be dealt with. But once again Gothdust failed to
uphold the Brood's honour and after he was eliminated by Rikishi Phatu, Gangrel shouted at
him to get out of his sight.
From there though, the Brood regained control when the remaining six men dived in and went at
it, during which Gangrel hit a flying bulldog on Gunn to give the Brood an extra man advantage.
It took the Brood another ten minutes before they were able to wear down Rikishi and Scotty
enough to eliminate one of them.
Bigelow hit the Greetings on Rikishi Phatu to eliminate the big Sumoian but as he stood up to
take the applause of his team mates, Scotty nailed a bulldog on him and then followed up with
the Worm to make it two on one.
Scotty Too Hotty tried his best to stay in this match but the team work between Kane & Gangrel
was too much for him to defend against. After a killer chokeslam from Kane, Gangrel tagged in
and pinned Scotty after a swinging neckbreaker.**

[Submission Only]: No-Time-Limit-No-Countout-No-DQ-Falls-Count-Anywhere Match:
Ken Shamrock made Tazz submit to the cross face chicken wing in 0:25:21.
Rating: *****
(Ken Shamrock retained the WWF Intercontinental Title.)
**The match of the night saw to Submission specialist square off for the Intercontinental Belt.
Both men pulled out great combinations to wear down the other and some superb linking moves
led to several submission attempts.
Tazz came close to winning after he hit a combination of T-Bone, Head&Arm and Belly-to-belly
tazplexs followed up by the Tazmission only for Shamrock to escape by running backwards into
a buckle.
A droptoe hold into the Ankle lock wasn't even enough to beat Tazz as he managed to kick his
way out with the other foot.
Shamrock concentraited on the legs of Tazz, while the Human Wrecking machine concentraited on
the neck and shoulders of the World's Most Dangerous Man and it looked like neither man could
get a move on long enough for the submission to come.
However Shamrock made an adjustment at the last second and applied a crossface chicken wing
on Tazz out of nowhere as a reversal to another Tazmission attempt. This change in tactics
was enough to stun Tazz long enough for the move to be applied fully and then Ken Shamrock
locked it in tighter by dropping to the mat and locking he legs as well. Tazz struggled to
get loose but eventually it was impossible for him to get out and he lost consciousness, Earl
Hebner dropped the arm three times to make it a sucessful defence for Shamrock.**

Mick Foley walks out holding the WWF Tag titles
No-Time-Limit-Triangle Match for the vacant WWF Tag Team Champions:
The Dudley Boys defeated The Acolytes and The Hardy Boyz:
x J. Hardy beat Faarooq after the Hardy Bomb in 0:05:54
x D-Von beat M. Hardy via the Flying Legdrop in 0:11:15
Rating: * 1/4
(The Dudley Boys won the WWF Tag Team Champions.)
**The Dudleyz returned from EcW with the WWF tag team titles but were stripped of them by Mick
Foley as he had already signed the Hardyz Vs. Acolytes to be for the WWF tag titles. But that
didn't matter to the Dudleyz as they stormed though the match and destroyed both teams early
on. The Hardys managed to regroup from the surprise attack but the Acolytes didn't as Faarooq
was pinned with the Hardy Bomb just moments later.
The Hardys and the Dudleys then continued the fight for another few minutes and dispite the
high risk offence from the youngsters, it was the Dudleys who were able to get the win after
a 3-D on Jeff Hardy followed by a Buh Buh Cutter and a Flying Legdrop combination on Matt
Hardy.
Meaning the Dudleys walked out with the WWF Tag Titles that they had taken from them just over
ten minutes previously!**

Ted DiBiase comes out

[Million Dollar Challenge]: No-Time-Limit-No-Countout-No-DQ-Falls-Count-Anywhere Match:
Steve Austin pinned Rocky Maivia with the Stone Cold Stunner in 0:09:46.
Rating: ** 1/2
**Steve Austin is back! The rattlesnake returned to the shock of the WWF and especially the
Rock. Ted DiBiase said that he had a huge name as his Million Dollar Crown Jewel and he was
right.
Austin went right to work on the Rock with some stiff rights and lefts and just brawled it out
with the Rock, who appeared shell shocked for the first few minutes. Despite this though the
Rock tried to tame the Rattlesnake but dispite his best efforts Austin continued to fight
back stronger then before.
The ending was as corrupt as Steve Austin when the Rock hit the Rock-Bottom followed by the
People's Elbow on Austin. Referee Sol Doubt counted to two and then stopped and flipped the
bird to the Rock. The Rock dived straight to his feet and went after Sol, only for Ted DiBiase
to blast him in the back with a chair and Austin to pounce immediatly with the Stunner.
Of course when Austin went for the pin, Sol Doubt counted an extremly fast three to give Austin
his first win since his return.
Ted DiBiase then left followed by Steve Austin and Referee Sol Doubt to a barrage to abuse from
the capacity crowd.**

Hell in the Cell Triangle Match with Managers Banned with Special Referee Mick Foley:
Chris Jericho defeated Hunter Hearst Helmsley and Chris Benoit when
Chris Jericho made Helmsley submit to the Walls of Jericho in 0:23:57.
Rating: **** 1/2
(Chris Jericho retained the WWF Heavyweight Title.)
**The Commissioner said that he would make sure that Jericho would have a fair match to defend
the WWF Title in and he did. Not only did Mick Foley make this a Hell In The Cell and ban
everyone from ringside, he also made himself referee as well.
The match still looked like the Corporation's plan was going to work as Hunter and Benoit
double teamed Chris Jericho for the first half of the match. Of course this plan worked well
until Triple H went for the pin! Benoit was furious and pulled Triple H off, the two got into
a pushing frenzy and this escalated into a full brawl between the two.
While this was going on, Chris Jericho, used some ring smarts and stayed out of the way and
re-grouped whilst Triple H and Benoit continued to fight.
The match came extremely close to ending on the fifteen minute mark as Benoit hit the Diving
Headbutt on Triple H. Just before the three count, Y2J hit the springboard Asai Moonsault
to break up the count and got a close two count fall on Benoit in the process.
The fight then coninued for another ten or so minutes as the fans got to see all three men
go to work against each other, just as Mick Foley promised.
Every man got a close fall but the third man always was there to break it up. The ending
came after Benoit got hit by a the double powerbomb by Jericho. As Y2J got up, Triple H
booted him in the chest, doubling him up and then hooked the arms for the Pedigree.
Jericho however pulled the legs of HHH out and allied the Walls Of Jericho on him. Triple
H was screaming in pain as he tried to escape and with Benoit still down from the double
powerbomb it was just a matter of time before the Game had to tap out.**
