EDDIE 'Latino Heat' GUERRERO Vs. D-VON DUDLEY w/t Buh Buh
The opener saw one half of each tag team in the NO WAY OUT championship face each other.
It was a great preview of the match to come as Guerrero and D-Von fought back and forth for
well over ten minutes.
The ending came after Buh Buh snuck in the ring as D-Von faked a knee injury to distract Tim
White. Guerrero suffered the Buh Buh Cutter and then D-Von made a miraculous recovery to hit
the Legdrop off the top rope.
D-Von Dudley pinned Eddie Guerrero with the Flying Legdrop in 0:13:45.
Rating: *** 1/2

**The Dudleys continue their assault on Eddie Guerrero. But the crowd errupts as Essa Rios
comes running out from the back to help.
Before Rios reaches the ring, the Dudleys hit the 3-D onto Eddie. Essa comes in and gets in
several shots on both Dudleys before they slow him down with a second 3-D.
The Dudleys stand over the fallen tag team champions for a few second before Buh Buh Ray gets
a huge grin across his face and screams for the tables. D-Von slides two tables into the ring
and the Dudley Boys set them up in the middle of the ring.
Guerrero is the first to suffer 'wood' after he is powerbombed off the middle ropes through
the table by Buh Buh Ray. D-Von then picks up Essa Rios and signals that he's next but from
out of the back we see Chyna, the Heat valet, running out armed with a chair.
Mamacita clocks Buh Buh with it and moves for D-Von, but D-Von ducks and manages to backdrop
Chyna to the canvas. Chyna is then punished some more as she is 3-D'ed through the table by
  the Dudley Boys.
We cut to commercials with the Dudleys holding up the tag team championships whilst standing
  over the fallen champions.**

KURT ANGLE Vs. SCOTT HALL
Next we had Scott Hall take on unwilling WWF HaRdCoRe champ, Kurt Angle. Kurt and Hall were
evenly matched as Kurt continues to try and move back up to the Heavyweight division.
The ending came after Kurt Angle hit the Olympic Slam on Scott Hall but when he went for the
cover, Billy Gunn, Sabu, Crash and Bob Holly all dived into the ring and attacked Kurt Angle.
Hebner called for the disqualification as Mike Keota, Tim White and Teddy Long entered the
ring for the 24/7 stipulation to kick in.
Kurt Angle defeated Scott Hall by disqualification in 0:08:53.
Rating: 1/2*

**As Sabu, the Hollys and Billy Gunn attempt to get at Kurt Angle, he manages to avoid them
long enough to grab a microphone.**
KURT - Stop it, look at you all fighting each other just so you can try and beat me for the
HaRdCoRe title. A belt that I didn't even want!
Well I've had enough of this 24/7 rubbish.
I'm putting out a challenge here and now for a title shot at NO WAY OUT.
A hardcore battle royal. The last man left in the ring gets to face me at NO WAY OUT.
So anybody out the back who wants to join these four idiots in a match come on out and
see if you can prove it.

**With that Kurt Angle signals for a bell to sound to begin the match and the HaRdCoRe battle
  begins with just four men.**

HaRdCoRe BATTLE ROYAL
SABU Vs. MATT HARDY Vs. JEFF HARDY Vs. BILLY GUNN
Vs. TEST Vs. CRASH Vs. BOB HOLLY Vs. SATURN
The match started with four men but the Hardy Boys and StratusPhere joined in this HaRdCoRe
battle almost as soon as the bell rang.
It was a brutal affair full of action as these eight fought for a HaRdCoRe title shot.
The first fall went against Matt Hardy after Saturn gave him a waistlock suplex onto a trash
can. But Saturn was eliminated just seconds after the pin after Hardcore Holly hit a vertical
facebuster on the same trash can to eliminate him as well.
Bob Hardcore Holly was out immedatly after as once again the trash can came into play. Jeff
Hardy nailed a moonsault bodyblock on Bob and they both fell onto the trash can. As Jeff got
the pin on one side, Crash had Billy Gunn in an abdominal stretch. Gunn tried to hold on but
when Test nailed him in the exposed chest with Nunchucks, he had to give up.
Crash was out next as Test used the Nunchucks again and hit him with the Pumphandle Powerslam
through a table. Jeff Hardy was out next after he hit the Swanton Bomb on Test.
Before he could make the cover though, Sabu smashed him across the head with a chair and pinned
Jeff Hardy. Sabu then covered Test afterwards to become the No#1 Contender for the HaRdCoRe
title.
Sabu won an 8-man Battle Royal:
x Saturn defeated M. Hardy after a waistlock suplex in 0:06:13
x Holly defeated Saturn after a vertical facebuster in 0:06:43

THE FALLEN & K-KWIK Vs. M.D.GROUP
The next match returning from the break saw the Fallen team with K-Kwik to take on three of the
M.D.Group.
Edge managed to pin his brother Christian after the Fallen hit the Double Last Rites on Bull.
Christian was distracted and Edge hit the Edge-a-matic (Reverse X-Factor) and got the win as
Dynamite fought with K-Kwik and Bull tripped Daniels.
M.D. Group (Bull Buchanan, Dynamite and Edge) defeated The Fallen and K-Kwik when Edge pinned
Christian with the Edge-a-matic in 0:11:48.
Rating: ** 1/4

KEN SHAMROCK Vs. 'Thug' TAZZ
Tazz and Shamrock fought it out in a submission style match next. Both men tried to get the
submission victory to give them an advantage going in to NO WAY OUT.
Shamrock came close as did Tazz. Tazz used a series of his 'plexes to send Ken Shamrock to
the outside. But before Shamrock tried to get back up, Chris Benoit ran down and nailed Ken
Shamrock in the back of the head.
Shamrock and Benoit then began fighting up the ramp as the referee began to count of Shamrock.
The ref called for the bell and Ken Shamrock tried to re-enter the ring only for Benoit to
take him down with an arm lock into the Crippler Crossface.
Tazz defeated Ken Shamrock by countout in 0:07:07.
Rating: **** 1/4

**Benoit contines kicking away at the left arm of Ken Shamrock on the outside as Tazz makes
his way back to the locker room. The chants for Shamrock grow as the World's Most Dangerous
  Man tries to fight back.
But Benoit manages to block a forearm and takes Shamrock down into the Crippler Crossface.
The crowd begin booing as the Intercontinental Champion keeps the Crossface applied despite
the official's attempts to break the hold.
Suddenly the boos turn into cheers as Chris Jericho runs from out of the back and proceeds
to kick Chris Benoit until he releases the hold.
Benoit and Jericho then get into a slugfest on the rampway with neither man seemingly having
  the advantage.
Meanwhile Ken Shamrock has managed to get back to his feet. Shamrock snaps in front of
everyone and screams out loud. He then shoves Jericho into the ringsteps and takes down
  Benoit with a hurricanarana.
As Jericho gets back up Shamrock charges in and rams Jericho against the ring pole.
Shamrock then turns his attention back to Benoit and manages to get the Ankle Lock Submission
  onto the Crippler.
Benoit starts tapping out almost immediatly but Shamrock refuses to let go, just as Benoit
  did earlier.
We cut to commericals again with Jericho still down and Benoit locked into submission by Ken
  Shamrock screaming out.**

NO DQ - EIGHT MAN ELIMINATION TAG MATCH
KANE/FOLEY/THEROCK/HBK Vs. HHH/NASH/AUSTIN/SANDMAN
Main event saw eight of the top athletes competing in an elimination match that gave a hint at
what the fans might expect at Sunday's PPV.
Michaels got the first fall to give his group the advantage after he delivered Sweet Chin Music
to Big Sexy Kevin Nash.
From there the advantage was with the Foley team until Michaels and Triple's anger spilled to
the outside causing a double countout when neither man even made an attempt to re-enter.
Austin and the Sandman then entered the ring simaltaniously and began slugging it out with Mick
Foley and the Rock. Kane tried to help but the Game came back down and went right to work by
throwing him into the ringsteps.
HHH tried to get involved even more but HBK came back out and they fought to the back once
again. The interference wasn't done there as Tazz ran out armed with a steel chair and hit
the Rock and Foley with chair shots.
This allowed Austin and Sandman to hit their respective finishers on Rock and Foley. Sandman
and Austin both covered at the same time and the referee counted the three against Foley. But
the Rock got a shoulder up on Austin's pin.
Austin was furious and dropped the Rock with a second Sell Out Stunner.
This left it as Kane against Austin and Sandman, despite the extra man advantage it was Kane
who had the control as Austin/Sandman where still trying to get at Foley and Rock.
Kane gave the Chokeslam to Austin and then to Sandman. Sandman was pinned by Kane before
Austin suffered a Tombstone to give the win to the Big Red Machine.
Kane, Mick Foley, Rocky Maivia and Shawn Michaels beat Degeneration X (Hunter Hearst Helmsley
