SUNDAY NIGHT HEAT TAPINGS
BULL Vs. CHRIS JERICHO
Opening match of Heat saw Chris Jericho take on one of the MDGroup members. Jericho dominated
the match from the begining as he proved that Bull wasn't even in his class.
Y2J had the match won after he put Bull in the Walls Of Jericho but Chris Benoit ran out and
nailed Jericho in the back of the head with the title belt.
This led to the disqualification but Benoit didn't stop there he dropped Jericho to the mat
with another title belt shot. Benoit climbed to the top rope and hit the Swandive headbutt on
Chris Jericho before leaving to a chorus of boos.
Chris Jericho defeated Bull Buchanan by disqualification in 0:06:06.
Rating: **

SUNDAY NIGHT HEAT TAPINGS
WWF HaRdCoRe TITLE MATCH
HARDCORE HOLLY (C) Vs. CRASH Vs. SABU Vs. AL SNOW
Yet another brutal match for the HaRdCoRe title which saw Crash attempt to become a ten time
champ, Sabu a five time champion and Al Snow a four time champion.
Bob Holly almost retained the title after he and cousin, Crash spike-piledrived Sabu onto
some steel chairs. But Snow nailed Crash with Head before the Hollys could double team him.
Hardcore Holly was nailed by the Head next. Then Al Snow won back the HaRdCoRe title after
delivering a Snow Plow through a table for the win.
Al Snow defeated Crash, Sabu and Hardcore Holly when Snow pinned Holly with the Snow Plow in
0:12:25.
Rating: * 3/4
(Al Snow won the WWF HaRdCoRe Title.)

**As Al Snow holds up the HaRdCoRe title he realises the others are coming at him and he runs
  towards the locker room.
On the way to the back, Saturn comes out armed with a trash can and swings for Al Snow, only
for Snow to duck and Saturn hits Hardcore Holly with it.
Saturn looks down at Hardcore Holly and turns to Al Snow but Al has escaped the ringside
  area.
As Perry Saturn goes to leave Crash comes from behind with a steel chair and flattens him
  with it.
With Snow gone, Saturn down on the outside and Sabu still laying in the ring, Crash bends
down and helps cousin, Hardcore back to his feet to some moderate cheers from the crowd.**

SUNDAY NIGHT HEAT TAPINGS
LATINO HEAT & KURT ANGLE Vs. TEAM EXTREME
Heat & Angle teamed up to take on Team Extreme in six man action next. Sabu pulled double-duty
by staying in the ring after the HaRdCoRe match to compete in this one.
It was a mistake for Sabu to compete in both matches as he was too fatigued from the first
match. Guerrero, Rios and Angle used this to their advantage and cut the ring off to work
over Sabu for most of the match.
Sabu was taken down by the double brainbuster from the tag team champions and then Eddie won
the match with the Frog Splash.
Latino Heat and Kurt Angle defeated Team Extreme (Buh Buh Ray Dudley, D-Von Dudley and Sabu)
when E. Guerrero pinned Sabu with the Frog Splash in 0:12:58.
Rating: ** 1/4

SUNDAY NIGHT HEAT TAPINGS
KEN SHAMROCK Vs. TEST
The Heat main event saw the World's Most Dangerous Man take on Test of the MDGroup.
The match was similar to the Jericho Vs. Bull match at the start of the show as Ken Shamrock
dominated the match from the start.
Shamrock managed to get Test in the Ankle Lock Submission but once gain Chris Benoit came out
and nailed Shamrock from behind leading to the disqualification.
Benoit then kicked away at Shamrock before applying the Crippler Crossface to him.
Ken Shamrock defeated Test by disqualification in 0:07:21.
Rating: 3/4*

**As Benoit continues to apply the Crippler Crossface to Ken Shamrock, we see Test leaving the
  ring shaking the cobwebs out.
However as Benoit has Shamrock locked in the Crossface he fails to see Chris Jericho running
down the aisle armed with a chair.
Y2J hits Benoit in the back of the head with it causing him to release the hold. As Benoit
staggers back up, Jericho nails him with it again sending the Crippler to the mat.
Jericho then hits the springboard Asai Moonsault on the Intercontinental champion. By now
Shamrock has gotten back to hit feet and sees what is going on.
Chris Jericho and Ken Shamrock exchange a look just as they did on RAW and Y2J nods and
leaves the ring. Shamrock stays in the ring and begins putting the boots to Benoit before
he puts the Crippler into the Ankle Lock Submission.
Several WWF officials run out to break it up but Shamrock releases the hold and delivers the
Belly-to-belly to several of them before putting Benoit back into the hold...
Sunday Night Heat ends as more officials try to break the hold without any sucess as we see
Ken Shamrock trying to snap Benoit's ankle.**

**We open the show as "If You Dare" plays and Tazz walks out and makes his way to the ring,
while receiving a mixed reaction from the crowd.**
TAZZ - Last Monday night on RAW, I was not only attacked by the MDGroup, but I found out who
my real friends were after I turned down a cash offer from Ted DiBiase.
You see it seems as if the Dudleys and Sabu don't have the same vision as me. To keep
       the ECW name alive.
So tonight I'm going to prove to Team Extreme, MDGroup and the World, that Tazz is a
major contender. I challenge Steve Austin to a match in this very ring tonight!!

**Shooter plays as Chris Benoit comes out with Shane McMahon. They walk down the ramp until
  they are roughly halfway.**
CBEN - Tazz, who do you think you are challenging Austin to a match. You know you suddenly have
a very swollen head ever since earning the NO WAY OUT title shot.
Well just remember this, I am in the WRESTLEMANIA X-7 main event. So if you win, you'll
       have to face ME!
TAZZ - You want a piece of me as well, fine. Me against you tonight instead.

**Dis Da Disturb's 3:16 song plays as Steve Austin comes out followed by Ted DiBiase. They walk
up beside Chris Benoit & Shane McMahon.**
3:16 - It seems to me, that Tazz is willing to take either of us on tonight, so how about a
handicap match. Us two against Tazz.
$TED - No, how about three on one. 3:16 - Hur?
$TED - Chris Benoit, Steve Austin and.........Triple H. I'm sure I've got a few thousand things
that he wants in exchange for a match.
TAZZ - Fine, what ever you think you need.
**Mankind Wreck plays as Mick Foley comes out and stays at the entrance way.**
MICK - Tazz, don't agree to anything. I'm the Commissioner, and no matches can be signed
without my agreeing. But the team of Austin, Benoit and HHH has got me interested to
see if the three Ego's can co-exist.
So I'll allow that team to be in the main event tonight. BUT you won't just face Tazz,
you'll also face me and the WWF Champion, the Rock!
TAZZ - If I really must have partners in this match, I'm going to warn you now, Mick. Don't you
dare cross me during that match. Beat me if you can, Survive if I let you but DIE if
       you double cross me.

**We go to adverts as Benoit looks at Tazz in the ring and Austin looks at Mick Foley at the
  top of the ramp.**

STRATUSPHERE Vs. THE FALLEN
Christian and Chris Daniels second match as a tag team saw them pick up a second win and it was
over the former WWF Tag Team champions, StratusPhere.
Saturn and Venis seemed distracted in this match due to the absense of Trish at ringside. Now
that Trish has joined DeGeneration X with her main man, Billy Gunn, it looks like the future
of this tag team isn't very bright.
The ending came after Venis held Chris Daniels back as Saturn came off the top rope with a
dropkick. But Daniels ducked and Saturn nailed Venis with the dropkick sending the Valbowski
outside.
As Saturn looked at Venis in shock, Daniels re-covered and when Saturn turned around he was
caught in the Last Rites (Gut wrench DDT).
The Fallen defeated StratusPhere when Daniels pinned Saturn with the Last Rites in 0:08:15.
Rating: * 1/2

KEVIN NASH Vs. TRIPLE SYXX
Triple Syxx attempted to take on the biggest member of the DeGeneration X/Cliq factions and
although he lost the match, he proved that he had the heart and determination to win.
Syxx came close time and time again but Nash was just too big for Syxx to finish off. He tried
to hit the Syxx-Factor but Nash was able to block it and reversed it into a Spinebuster slam.
Kevin Nash then dropped the straps of his top and signaled for the end. Nash delivered the
Jackknife to the Cliq member and made the cover by placing a foot on Syxx's chest.
Kevin Nash pinned Triple Syxx with the Jackknife Power Bomb in 0:09:59.

NON-TITLE MATCH
BILLY GUNN (C) Vs. SCOTT HALL
Another match between the Cliq/DeGeneration X factions which saw Billy Gunn, European Champion
take on Scott Hall in a non-title match.
But Kevin Nash came back out to ringside and tried to enter the ring. This caused the referee
distraction and Trish entered the ring and low-blowed Scott Hall just as Stephanie did on RAW.
Once again this gave the opening to DeGeneration X and Gunn hit the Fame-Ass-Er onto Scott
Hall for the cheap victory.
Billy Gunn pinned Scott Hall after a Fame-Ass-Er in 0:05:33.
Rating: ** 1/4

**As Trish Stratus walks around the ring to get Billy Gunn's European belt, Kevin Nash enters
the ring and moves right for Scott Hall.
Billy Gunn says something to Kevin Nash and Big Sexy lifts Scott Hall up in the Jackknife
  position.
Trish enters the ring and hands over a microphone and the Euro belt to Billy Gunn as Kevin
  Nash Jackknife Powerbombs, Scott Hall.
Gunn walks up to Scott Hall and then holds up the microphone.**
GUNN - Well Hall, looks like the Cliq have failed once more. Now with my Trish Stratus and
Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley added to our ranks, we're even more unstoppable and don't
you EVER FORGET IT! Come on Nash.
**Kevin Nash, Billy Gunn and Trish Stratus all exit the ring but before they reach the top,
Kevin Nash turns around and walks back to the ring. Nash then picks up Hall and hits another
Jackknife to the delight of Gunn and Trish.
All three DeGeneration X members then leave the ringside area.**

REY MISTERIO & K-KWIK Vs. JUVI GUERRERA & DYNAMITE
A tag team match involving four of the WWF's top lightweights, which was signed by Mick Foley
as a preview to the NO WAY OUT Pay Per View when all four men will battle for the title.
Dynamite and Juvi worked quite well as a unit but the masked Misterio and K-Kwik seemed to
gel almost immediatly and went at their opponents with some surperb double team plancha and
fast paced moves.
The ending came after Dynamite came in and prevented a double suplex attempt on Juvi and ended
up falling to the outside with K-Kwik after a body block attempt. Juvi managed to capitalise
on Rey's concern for K-Kwik and delivered his Juvy Driver for the win.
Juventud Guerrera and Dynamite defeated Rey Misterio Jr. and K-Kwik when J. Guerrera pinned
Misterio Jr. with the Juvy Driver in 0:12:21.
Rating: ** 1/4

**We go backstage where we see Michael Cole who is standing by with the Rock**
COLE - So Rock, in tonight's main event, you will team with Tazz and Mick Foley to take on
Triple H, Chris Benoit and Steve Austin. Your thoughts?
ROCK - The Rock's thoughts are why the hell do the WWF continue to employ a jerbroni like you.
But as for the match, the Rock feels that teaming with Foley and Tazz, will allow him
to delight the Millions and Millions of his fans with yet another win!
COLE - Thank you, Rock. Errr....I'm just hearing that the Coach was supposed to be interviewing
Mick Foley but something is wrong, so let's go to the Coach where he can explain it.

**We cut to Jonathan Coachman who is standing in what used to be Mick Foley's office. Tazz and
Mick Foley are sitting on chairs nearby being attended to by EMT's and Foley has a huge gaping
  wound across his forehead.**
COCH - Thank you Cole. Yes, just moments ago we came here to talk with Tazz & Mick Foley and
found carnage here. Tazz & Foley were attacked just before we arrived by someone.
Now Tazz says that it must have been Austin, Benoit or Triple H...But Mick Foley isn't
suggesting anything as neither of them saw who it was.
Lets just hope they are alright in time for their match later back to Jim Ross and Jerry
       Lawler.

SHAWN MICHAELS Vs. KANE
The Big Red Machine and the Heartbreak Kid were up next as these two men fought in an attempt
to prove themselves to Mick Foley and the rest of the WWF roster that they should be champion
-ship contenders.
It was Kane who picked up another important win here after a hard fought but clean match.
Kane has been on a role ever since coming seconds away from winning the ROYAL RUMBLE a month
ago and has been almost unstoppable since.
Michaels' attempts to put Kane down didn't seem to have much effect on Big Red. Eventually
HBK became so frustrated that he complained to the referee once to often and turned around to
face Kane, only to end up being Tombstoned.
Kane pinned Shawn Michaels with the Tombstone in 0:11:23.

NO DISQUALIFICTION/COUNTOUT
BENOIT/HHH/AUSTIN Vs. TAZZ/FOLEY/ROCK
This six man tag team match was going to be a real tough one to call and it was just a matter
of minutes before Earl Hebner lost control.
It was a scrappy affair that went to the outside and almost into the crowd as these six WWF
superstars teared each other apart.
But the ending of the match came after Tazz shocked everyone by applying the Tazzmission to
the Rock, one of his partners! Tazz then shouted something to the other team and they began
to triple team, Mick Foley on the otherside of the ring.
D-Von and Buh Buh Ray Dudley then ran out and began to stomp away at the Rock whilest Tazz
kept the Tazzmission on him. Meanwhile on the other side Mick Foley was being triple teamed
by HHH, Benoit and Austin.
Mick Foley was then pumelled some more before Austin hit the Sell Out Stunner, followed by
Benoit's Swandive Headbutt. Triple H then added insult to injury by delivering the Pedigree
to the WWF Commissioner for the victory.
Chris Benoit, Hunter Hearst Helmsley and Steve Austin defeated Tazz, Mick Foley and Rocky
Maivia when Helmsley pinned Foley with the Pedigree.
 in 0:15:18.
Rating: ***

**Tazz continues to apply the Tazmission to the Rock as Triple H, Benoit and Steve Austin all
leave. On the other side of the ring, Mick Foley is trying to get up but is instead dragged
to his feet by the Dudley Boys.
The Dudleys try and double team him, but Foley manages to get the Mandible Claw on D-Von.
Buh Buh charges at Mick Foley, but the Commissioner gets him with the other hand. As Foley
continues the Double Mandible Claw we see that the Rock has passed out in the Tazmission, but
Tazz still will not release the hold.
Suddenly we see the Sandman from ECW and XPW fame come out from the crowd armed with a Kendo
Stick. Sandman walks into the ring behind Foley and nails him with the Kendo stick causing
Foley to lose grip on the Dudleys.
Mick Foley turns around to see who attacked him but the Sandman hits him with the Kendo stick
again and re-opens Mick Foley's wound from earlier.
By now Tazz has released the hold and looks right at the Sandman in confusion as do the Dudley
  Boys.
The show ends as we see Mick Foley and the Rock laid out in the ring whilest Tazz and the
Dudleys stare at the Sandman as he exits through the crowd again.**
