**No Chance plays as Shane McMahon walks to a chorus of boos.**
SHAN - I am out here because Mick Foley is once again away from his position as Commissioner.
Now he signed a match last week on Smackdown between Triple H and the Rock for the no#1
contendership! Yet the referee he assigned was a complete moron and the Rock won.
So this week, I signed a match for the Rock and he will face another thorn in the
       OutKast's side, Kurt Angle!
Tonight they will go one on one against each other and I hope they tear each other apart.
BUT also tonight, I've decided that my OutKast's will have a little training match
against any four men that think they can challenge us. If no one volunters then I'll
just have to pick someone at random.

STRATUSPHERE w/t Trish Vs. SHOOTERS
Opening match saw the on-fire team of the Shooters pick up a win against the ex-tag team champs
in a great match.
Just as in their last few matches, Shooters used their knowledge of matial arts & submissive
moves to wear down StratusPhere.
The ending came after Venis was caught in a combination that Shamrock later dubbed "Trouble
Shooter". The "Trouble Shooter" is the Jumpkick by Blackman from behind and Shamrock hitting
a drop toe hold simaltaniously into the Ankle Lock. Venis tapped out fairly quickly as Steve
Blackman hit a second Jumpkick on Saturn.
The Shooters (Ken Shamrock and Steve Blackman) defeated StratusPhere when Shamrock made Venis
submit to the Ankle Lock Submission in 0:13:05.
Rating: **

EDGE Vs. VAMPIRO
Quick passed match that saw the 'Dark Angel' challenge an unexpecting Edge. Vampiro is usually
a hardcore, slow matadical wrestler so when he came at Edge with some high speed impact moves,
Edge was caught time and time again.
But it wasn't a one sided match at all as Edge was just as fast paced and used some great move
combinations to stagger Vampiro. Edge came close to winning several times only for Vampiro to
break the momentum and come back with some of his own.
The ending came after Vampiro went for the Nail in the Coffin. Edge reversed it with a drop
down go behind and hit the Edge-a-matic (reverse faceslam) before Vampiro could turn around.
Edge pinned Vampiro with the Edge-amatic in 0:14:00.

**Latino Heat hits as Lil' Heat comes out with his Lightweight title belt and a microphone.**
ESSA - That son of a bi#ch, Shane McMahon just told me that I've got to put my belt on the line
tonight or me and Eddie will have to forfeit our tag team titles.
So I am regretably putting out an open challenge to any lightweight backstage to come out
for a match for this title.
**The 'Hell Fury' theme hits as Triple Syxx comes out**
SYXX - I want a shot at that title belt. So ring that bell.
**Triple Syxx walks to the ring but just as he gets to the bottom of the ramp, some unknown
rap music hits as someone walks out from behind the curtain.**

UNKNOWN - Hold up there! Now you didn't say anything about more then one man facing you at once.
You also said someone from backstage, well I just came from signing a new development
contract at Vince's office so I guess I'm included.
ESSA - You want a shot as well? You got it, if I've got to put my belt on the line then I'll do
it properly. Bring it on .......err......just who the hell are you?
KWIK - My name is K. Kwik and I'm the first WWF star to also own a recording studio. I'm going
to make a name for myself in the WWF and so enhance my studio's reputation and publicity.
ESSA - I asked for your name not your life story!
SYXX - Enough talk, I want this match to start already.
**The bell rings and the three way dance starts.**

WWF LIGHTWEIGHT TITLE
ESSA RIOS (C) Vs. TRIPLE SYXX Vs. K-KWIK
The forced title defence of Essa Rios wasn't the main story in this match. The main story was
the debut of K-Kwik who lived up to his name in this one for the Lightweight title.
Syxx was the first out after he got Frankensteiner-ed when he was setting K-Kwik up for a top
rope move. Essa Rios caught Syxx from behind and spun him around before hitting him with the
move and making the pin.
So it was down to the debuting K-Kwik and the champion. Essa Rios went for the victory with a
second Frankensteiner but K-Kwik reversed it into a running powerbomb for a close two count.
With Essa Rios down, K-Kwik went up top and hit a 450 splash to pick up the win and a belt in
only his first WWF match.
K-Kwik defeated Triple Syxx and Essa Rios:
x Rios beat Syxx via a Frankensteiner in 0:10:53
x K-Kwik beat Rios via the 450 Splash in 0:12:05
Rating: ** 1/2
(K-Kwik won the WWF Lightweight Title.)

WWF EUROPEAN TITLE
BILLY GUNN (C) w/t Trish Vs. AL SNOW
Snow attempted to get double gold tonight as he faced Billy Gunn for the European championship
to add to his HaRdCoRe championship. But it was Al Snow's HaRdCoRe championship that led to
Billy Gunn retaining the title by DQ.
Al Snow and Billy Gunn were having a great match, with Snow coming the closest to winning on
a number of occassions, but the arena was shocked at the finish.
The Human Highlight Reel, Sabu ran out of the backstage area followed by a referee and pulled
Al Snow out of the ring. Sabu piledrove Al Snow onto the steel steps which led to the European
match referee calling for the bell.
Al Snow defeated Billy Gunn by disqualification in 0:07:33.
Rating: **
(Billy Gunn retained the WWF European Title.)

WWF 24/7 HaRdCoRe CHAMPIONSHIP
AL SNOW (C) Vs. SABU
Poor Al Snow came out here tonight looking to add the Euro belt around his waist but Sabu had
other plans.
After Snow was piledriven onto the steps, Sabu dragged Al into the center of the ring and also
brought in the ring steps. Sabu dropped the steps onto Al Snow's chest and then ran against
the ropes to hit an Asai moonsault.
The referee made the count as Sabu laid on top of the steps that were on top of Al Snow and we
had a NEW HaRdCoRe champion.
Sabu pinned Al Snow after an Asai moonsault in 0:02:53.
Rating: * 3/4
(Sabu won the WWF HaRdCoRe Title.)

ROSS - Well in just a moment we will see the Hardys taking on Test and Bull.
KING - Yes, I get to see Lita. T-Backs are great JR.
ROSS - First off though, lets here from Michael Cole and a special guest.

**Michael Cole is standing at ringside just in front of the crowd.**
COLE - Yes JR, I am here with an outstanding athelete, our guest of honour here tonight in
       Alabama. Tom 'Dynamite Kid' Billington!
**Cole walks a few steps to the right to reveal Dynamite Kid sitting in the front row with a
huge grin. He stands up and waves to the cheering crowd before adressing Michael Cole and the
  camera.**
DYNA - It's great to be back in the WWF.
COLE - It's great to see you back. So are you just here for the show or are you planning a WWF
       return?
DYNA - It's purely pleasure tonight. I'd love to be back in the WWF but as of yet, I haven't
       talked with Vince McMahon.
COLE - OK, so what are you upto at the moment?
DYNA - Basically I'm here in America to advertise my new autobiography 'PURE DYNAMITE'. Also I
had a few contract negotiations that needed me to be here in person.
COLE - Great, well it's great to see you here, back to you Ross and the King

M.D.GROUP (Bull&Test) w/t DiBiase Vs. HARDY BOYZ w/t Lita
Matt and Jeff Hardy went against the Million Dollar Man's tag team in a highly anticipated
match up. With Austin and Edge banned from ringside and Lita keeping an eye on Ted DiBiase,
the match was fair and that suited the Hardyz.
DiBiase DID get involved in the match though by entering the ring but Lita came in as well and
put Ted down with a Twist of Fate. Meanwhile Test suffered the same 'fate' as Matt hit his
version of the move.
Jeff went up to the top rope for the Swan-Ton as Tim White helped Ted DiBiase out of the ring,
but Tom Billington shocked the crowd when he lept out of the crowd and hopped onto the apron to
shove Jeff Hardy off.
Matt went outside after Tom Billington but Bull capitalised by hitting the Scissor Kick on Jeff
as he staggered up for the win.
Million Dollar Group (Bull Buchanan and Test) defeated The Hardy Boyz when
Bull Buchanan pinned J. Hardy with the Scissor Kick in 0:08:19.
Rating: ** 1/4

**Test, Bull, Edge and the Dynamite Kid all begin beating the Hardy Boys down as the crowd is
stunned by Tom Billington's actions! M eanwhile Ted DiBiase comes in holding a microphone.**
$TED - Hahahahahahaaaa Behold, the NEWEST member of my group, Dynamite! He contacted me a month
ago wanting to come back in the WWF, but Vince McMahon wouldn't meet with him.
But I did and he agreed to join my group if I could get him back into the WWF, which I
       did.......thanks to Shane McMahon!
DYNA - All it took was a few phone calls to Mr. DiBiase and I'd gotten a WWF contract in less
time then it took for me to even get a meeting with Vince McMahon. Dynamite Kid is no
more, only this....PURE Dynamite is back and this time, I'm not being held back.
$TED - You see EVERYBODY has a price, even a legend like Dynamite.

OUTKASTS (Benoit/HHH/Nash&Hall) Vs. JERICHO/CHRISTIAN/CRASH&HBK
Once again the OutKasts used their 'persusive' abilities to convince Kane not to come out with
Jericho's team. All it took to convince him was a four on one beating on the Big Red Monster
that ended up with him shoved down some stairs into a boiler room.
The match was four on three for a while before Mick Foley managed to stop Crash backstage and
let him come out to join the team.
Once Crash came out and the sides were even, the moral for Jericho's team increased as did the
control of the match.
Benoit and Jericho were involved in the end of the match when Benoit went for a german suplex
but was blocked and Y2J pulled his legs out from under him. Y2J slapped him in the Walls Of
Jericho and all hell broke loose around them as HHH, Nash and Hall were stopped from breaking
the count by Christian, Crash and HBK.
In the midst of all the action, the referee managed to see Chris Benoit tap out and gave the
submission victory to team Jericho.
Chris Jericho, Christian, Crash and Shawn Michaels defeated
The Outkasts (Chris Benoit, Hunter Hearst Helmsley, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall)
when Chris Jericho made Benoit submit to the The Walls Of Jericho in 0:21:22.
Rating: *** 1/4
(Kane no-showed.)

**The Rock is waiting in the ring as Kurt Angle comes out and makes his way to the ring. He
enters and the Rock and Kurt Angle begin pacing around the ring waiting for the bell.....BUT
instead they hear 'Glass Smashing followed by the Million Dollar/Dis Da Disturbed remix' as
Ted DiBiase comes out with Steve Austin dressed in a referee top.**
$TED - Surprise! Yes, I forgot to mention two things when I signed this match earlier. First
off, Steve Austin is the guest referee for this match.
3:16 - Oh hell yeah!
$TED - And the second stipulation is....well you tell them, champ.
3:16 - The second is that this match will be for the no#1 contendership because as Shane said
earlier, he's not 100% happy with the Rock beating HHH like he did on Smackdown last
       week.
$TED - But that doesn't mean you won't call it down the middle will it?
3:16 - Oh hell no, I hate both these sonbitches the same. Tonight I get to see who I'll face at
Royal Rumble and ...THAT'S THE BOTTOM LINE BECAUSE DiBIASE PAID ME TO SAY SO!!
$TED - Damn right I did. Ring the bell then and let Austin show you how to referee.

NO#1 CONTENDERSHIP MATCH
THE ROCK Vs. KURT ANGLE
w/t Guest Ref: Steve Austin
Well Ted DiBiase did it again, he pulled off another plan to screw the Rock and the fans out of
the ROYAL RUMBLE match they wanted.
Austin constantly assulted both men and refused to count whenever the Rock went for the pin.
Kurt was confused as to why Austin was counting for him but wanted the no#1 contendership any
way.
The ending came when Austin decided to take matters into his own hands and hit the Sell Out
Stunner on the Rock. But Kurt refused to cover so Austin hit him with a Stunner as well and
dumped him on top.
After the match, Austin left to a chorus of boos as Angle got back to his feet only for the Rock
to Rock Bottom him in anger.
Kurt Angle pinned Rocky Maivia after referee interference in 0:09:07.
Rating: *** 1/4
