[Sunday Night Heat]: No-Time-Limit-Match:
Crowbar pinned Essa Rios with the Inverted DDT in 0:11:10.
Rating: ** 1/4
(Crowbar retained the WWF Lightweight Title.)
**So Crowbar retains his title in a close match. Crowbar used his ariel ability to take down
Essa Rios to great effect. Rios came close to winning after he hit a moonsault from the top
but Crowbar managed to get a foot on the rope to prevent it happening. Crowbar eventually
regained control when Rios took to long on the top rope before going for a 450 splash. The
champ took it to Rios some more before hitting the Inverted DDT for the win.**
[Sunday Night Heat]: No-Time-Limit-Match:
Gangrel pinned Marty Jannetty after hitting him with the ring bell in 0:05:19.
Rating: * 1/2
**Marty Jannetty came close to winning this match when he took Gangrel down with a series of
great moves. Then Goldust came running down armed with a ring bell after the referee, Tim
White got sandwiched in the corner by Gangrel after Marty reversed a whip.
Goldust shouted at Marty J to catch and threw the bell in, but Gangrel had faster reactions
and caught the bell in mid air before clocking Jannetty with it. As Goldust jumped up onto
the apron, Gangrel clocked him with it as well before turning back around and covering Marty
Jannetty as a groggy Tim White counted.**

[Sunday Night Heat]: No-Time-Limit-Match:
Too Cool defeated Foreign Fanatics (Shoichi Funaki and Taka Michinoku) when
Grandmaster Sexay pinned Michinoku after a tiger driver in 0:18:33.
Rating: ***
**Too Cool pull off a win against the Fanatics to break their losing streak. But despite the
loss, the Fanatics looked very impressive in the ring and even though together, they weigh
less then everyone else on the roster, they could be a good team in the future.**
[Sunday Night Heat]: No-Time-Limit-Match:
Eddie Guerrero pinned D'Lo Brown with the Frog Splash in 0:08:19.
Rating: ***
(Eddie Guerrero won the WWF European Title.)
D'Lo Brown injured his left knee. He will be out for approximately 1 card.
**Eddie Guerrero is a champion again! He beat D'Lo in a gruling match, both men had obviously
prepared for this match as they were able to anticipate most of their opponents moves.
Unfortunatly for D'Lo, his loss wasn't due to a mistake he made, but due to his knee that he
had injured several weeks ago. D'Lo went up top for the Lo-Down and as he pulled himself to
the standing position, his knee buckled and he fell to the canvas. Guerrero took advantage
by hitting his own version of the Lo-Down, the Frog splash to take the win.
After the match, Guerrero helped D'Lo backstage and into the awaiting Ambulance.**

No-Time-Limit-Match:
Saturn pinned Rikishi Phatu with the Top Rope Elbowdrop in 0:07:50.
Rating: 1/2*
**Saturn came out with out Terri in this match and was more determained then he had been in
the last few weeks due to Foley's stipulation. Saturn went right to work on the right leg of
Rikishi Phatu and destroyed the big Sumoan's vertical base with in a matter of minutes. This
tactic paid off later when Phatu went for the Rikishi-driver only for his knee to go out
under him, as D'Lo's did earlier.
Saturn then hit Phatu with a great crossbody from the top rope and then followed it up with
another top rope move namely his Elbowdrop.**
Night Stick No-Time-Limit-No-Countout-No-DQ-Match:
Crash Holly pinned Big Boss Man with the Crashlanding in 0:10:32.
Rating: * 3/4
(Crash Holly retained the WWF HaRdCoRe Title.)
**So Foley, at least managed to get part of his plan to pay off as Crash Holly walks away with
the win and Boss Man is OUT of the WWF.
Crash was able to grab the night stick fairly quickly as his smaller stature enabled him to
evade the Boss Man long enough to retrieve it. From there Crash went to work with the stick
on the Boss Man and busted him wide open.
The Boss Man attempted to get away by sliding out of the ring but Crash caught up with him and
finished him off with his Crashlanding (Frankensteiner) on to the steel walkway.**

No-Time-Limit-Match:
Steve Austin pinned Billy Gunn with the Stone Cold Stunner in 0:11:01.
Rating: 3/4*
**Bad Ass Billy Gunn came out looking to make a bigger name for himself against the Rattlesnake,
and he did just that. Gunn came extremely close to beating Austin and if it wasn't for Ted
DiBiase's interference, he would have done just that.
The Million Dollar Man kept drawing the attention of Mike Kaeota through out the match when
ever, Steve Austin looked in trouble.
This not only served to infuriate Gunn, but also took his mind off of Austin for a second and
that's all Austin needed. Like a coiled snake, he pounced at the right moment and hit the
Stunner.**
No-Time-Limit-Match:
Blood Brothers defeated Hell Fire when Christian pinned Bigelow after the
Bulldog from Edge's shoulders in 0:20:22.
Rating: ** 1/2
**Hell Fire's streak ends and it's quite appropriate that they lose to two members of the
original Brood. Edge & Christian's team work was superb and the brothers were able to get
the best of Hell Fire, who have only been a team for less then a month. Hell Fire's teamwork
was good as well but the Brother's have an inside knowledge of what the over is thinking and
so can concentraite on Kane & Bigelow more.
As Bigelow charged at Edge, he ducked and Bam Bam went into Kane, knocking the Big Red Monster
to the outside and enabling Edge to go behind Bigelow. Edge some how managed to lift Bam Bam
up long enough for Christian to hit the Bulldog off the shoulders to take the match.**
[BACKSTAGE]: No-Time-Limit-No-Countout-No-DQ-Falls-Count-Anywhere Match:
Al Snow pinned Crash Holly with the Snow Plow in 0:04:51.
Rating: 3/4*
(Al Snow won the WWF HaRdCoRe Title.)
**An imprompt match that saw Crash Holly triple teamed as he was simply getting some chocolate
from a snack machine. He got blind sided by all three members of T&A who went to work with
steel chairs and lead pipes.
Crash was pushed backwards into the Snack machine and as he staggered forward, Al Snow grabbed
him and hit the Snow Plow on the concrete floor before getting the pin.**

No-Time-Limit-Match:
The Dudley Boys defeated The Acolytes when D-Von pinned Faarooq with the
Flying Legdrop in 0:12:01.
Rating: **
**A good match between two of the most powerful teams in the WWF. The Dudleys sent the Hardy
Boyz a message in this match as they dismantled Faarooq. Bradshaw tried in vain to get a
tag in, but the Dudley Boys cut the ring in half for the entire match and worked over Faarooq.
Near the end, Bradshaw did run in but he got hit with the 3-D instantly and then D-Von put
the finishing touches to Faarooq with a legdrop from the top.
After the match, Bradshaw looked frustrated with Faarooq but helped him up anyway.**
No-Time-Limit-Match:
Tazz made Davey Boy Smith submit to the Tazmission in 0:08:35.
Rating: **
**A re-match from Raw and Tazz was even more dominant then before. He risked Disqualification
on a number of occassions by sending the Bulldog into the barriers and at one point he smashed
the Bulldog's head against the ring apron.
Tazz was able to apply the Tazmission to the Bulldog with ease as he had beaten Davey Boy into
a state of unconciousness. As he applied the Tazmission, he screamed out "Shamrock, BRING IT"
before he finally allowed the referee to test the Bulldog's arm, which dropped three times.**
No-Time-Limit-Match:
Kurt Angle pinned Val Venis with the The Olympic Slam in 0:14:10.
Rating: *** 1/2
**Possibly the match of the night. Kurt Angle and Val Venis fought tooth and nail in this one
and on another night, it could just have easily been Venis with the win. Trish Stratus had
no effect on Kurt Angle in this match as he remained 100% focused on the match.
The main story isn't the actual match though, because during the match, Al Snow came running
out closely followed by Crash Holly as he attempted to win back his title.
Snow used Trish as a shield from Crash for a while and then pushed her into Crash before
making his escape. Crash then apologised to Trish Stratus before continuing the chase.
Back in the ring, Kurt Angle had taken control with some great plexes and came close with a
belly-to-belly overhead suplex. But Kurt got the win after he ducked a Val right hand and
got behind him, before hitting the Olympic Slam.**
No-Time-Do-DQ-Limit-Match:
Rocky Maivia and Chris Jericho defeated
The Corporation (Chris Benoit and Hunter Hearst Helmsley) when Maivia pinned
Benoit with the people's elbow in 0:12:15.
Rating: **
**Re-match from Raw which saw the sides evened out this time. This time with the sides even
the match was much closer as both sides came close to getting the win.
Triple H wasn't prepared for the match to be fair though, as he managed to smuggle his
sledge hammer to the ring before hand. After missing the Rock by inches, he turned to hit
Y2J, only for Jericho to duck and HHH hit Benoit. Jericho then pulled out HHH's legs from
under him and applied the Walls of Jericho as the Rock bounced past and hit the People's
Elbow on Benoit for the victory.
But Smackdown wasn't over yet........**
