Location: WINNIPEG, MANITOBA, CANADA
Date/Time: Aug 10/00 at 7:30pm
[Sunday Night Heat Match]: No-Time-Limit-Match:
D'Lo Brown pinned Big Boss Man with the Lo-Down in 0:14:35.
Rating: ** 1/4
**The first match saw D'Lo end his losing streak but the Boss Man continued his losing streak!
D'Lo Brown showed signs of the great wrestling ability for which he was known in the past. He
was able to take down the Boss Man with a well executed Sky High before a picture perfect
Lo-Down led to the win.**
[Sunday Night Heat Match]: No-Time-Limit-Match:
Foreign Fanatics defeated Insane Posse when Michinoku pinned D. Flair with the
Michinoku Driver in 0:04:51.
Rating: DUD
**The second match as a tag team for Rios and Michinoku and this time they've got a team name.
This match was the third lose in a row for the Insane Posse since they made their debut last
week. After the match, Crowbar seemed extremely annoyed with David Flair and left without
waiting for David Flair to recover from the Michinoku Driver.**
[Sunday Night Heat Match]: HaRdCoRe Style Match:
Terry Funk made Al Snow submit to the Spinning Toe Hold in 0:19:10.
Rating: ** 1/4
**The Hardcore Legend took Al Snow to the wood shed in this one. Al Snow may have thought he
was as extreme and Hardcore as anyone in the WWF going into the match, but after this beating
he's going to have second thoughts.
The Funkster constantly worked over the leg of Al Snow with steel chair shots and even at one
point dropping the stairs onto the Snowman's leg.**

No-Time-Limit-Match:
Eddie Guerrero pinned Jeff Hardy with the Frog Splash in 0:14:21.
Rating: ***
(Eddie Guerrero retained the WWF Lightweight Title.)
**First Smackdown match saw Latino Heat retain his title again in competition. Guerrero has
said he would take on all comers for this lightweight title and he has done exactly that.
The end came after Jeff Hardy missed his Swan-Ton bomb from the top, leaving Jeff in a heap
in the centre of the ring. Guerrero waisted no time in going up and nailing his Frog Splash
for yet another title defence.**
No-Time-Limit-Four Corners Match:
The Acolytes defeated T & A with Head, Blood Brothers and Too Cool when Faarooq
pinned Christian after a powerslam in 0:13:58.
Rating: 3/4*
**What was scheduled to be a four corners match turned into an all out brawl. All eight men
where fighting it out in the ring and the referee couldn't maintain any control what so ever
in this one.
The referee, Tim White just decided to hell with it and counted for anybody who made a cover.
This brawl was total chaos as arms and legs where flying everywhere.
Christian was pinned after Test nailed him with the big boot and then Faarooq powerslammed
him as Bradshaw almost decapitated anybody who came near with his Clothesline from Hell.**
No-Time-Limit-Match:
Tazz made Matt Hardy submit to the Tazmission in 0:03:49.
Rating: *** 1/4
**Tazz is a Human Wrecking Machine. He took Matt Hardy out of this match within the first two
minutes of this contest with various Tazzplexs. But as he did against Crash Holly on Raw,
Tazz used the match as an opportunty to show off. Even though Matt Hardy was beaten, he just
wouldn't go for the pin. He went for Arm/Head Tazzplex, Urinagi Tazzplexs, Overhead Tazzplex
and nearly every Plex he had at his disposal. Eventually Tazz decided he'd had enough and
clapped the Tazmission onto an already unconcious Matt Hardy for the win via stoppage.**

No-Time-Limit-Match:
Ken Shamrock made David Flair submit to the Ankle Lock Submission in 0:01:50.
Rating: * 1/2
**Ken Shamrock was just as deadly as Tazz was in this match. The only difference was that Ken
Shamrock didn't torture David Flair, as Tazz had done with Matt Hardy.
Ken was said to be infuriated with Tazz's unprofessional actions before the match, but for
David Flair, it just meant that he would suffer from Shamrock's rage instead.**

Fight It Out-HaRdCoRe Match:
Kurt Angle pinned Davey Boy Smith with the The Olympic Slam in 0:13:04.
Rating: ** 1/2
(Kurt Angle won the WWF HaRdCoRe Title.)
**Suprisingly close match considering this was Kurt Angle's first HaRdCoRe match up. Both men
used the weapons to their advantage but didn't seem to use them exclusively. Angle prefered
to use his technic instead of a two-by-four. As for the Bulldog, his raw power was more then
enough without the need to use a chair.
Eventually though Kurt Angle got the win after he slid down Bulldog's back during the Running
Powerslam, before hitting the Olympic Slam for another Angle championship reign.**

Rikishi comes out.....

No-Time-Limit-Match:
The Brood (Gangrel and Gothdust) defeated
Too Cool (Rikishi Phatu and Rock-A-Billy) when Gangrel pinned Rock-A-Billy
with the Impaler in 0:10:51.
Rating: * 1/4
**So we now know what happened to Goldust last week, when he disappeared after his match with
Gangrel. He has now change his complete appearance and even his name to match the more dark
and sinisterly gothic side of Gangrel.
The match however was superb as Rikishi and Rock-A-Billy took it to the Brood and looked like
winning several times.
However it would not last as Mike Keaota was knocked down by an inadvertant splash from Phatu.
From here Rock-A-Billy hit a Fame-Ass-Er on Gothdust but with no referee to count it was all
for nothing.
Then Gangrel's plan fell into place as out of no where Kane appeared at ringside and began to
dismantle and distruct Too Cool. Kane nailed a huge chokeslam onto Rock-A-Billy that almost
sent him through the mat.
Rikishi Phatu could do nothing as he was quickly triple teamed and beaten down. Once Keaota
had woken up, the damage had been down and one Impaler from Gangrel was all it took to finish
off Rock-A-Billy.
But the big question wasn't would Too Cool get justice. The question was how did Gangrel get
Goldust and Kane to join him? What kind of powers or hold does he have over these two men?**

No-Time-Limit-Match:
Chris Benoit made Hunter Hearst Helmsley submit to the Crippler Crossface in
0:12:31.
Rating: ***
**Has the Corporation ended? Mick Foley's plan to put Triple H and Benoit in the same ring
appears to have sealed the fate of the Corporation.
It began with Shane McMahon asking HHH to lay down for Benoit, but he refused to do it saying
he was pi$$ed off with Shane favouring the Crippler. This lead to a fist fight between the
two with quickly escalated into a Slobberknocker.
Both men did what ever they could to bend the rules to their advantage, even Stephanie and
Shane got involved at numerous points in the match.
It was because of this that Triple H lost! Shane McMahon distracted Triple H when he pulled
her off the ring apron and slapped her across the face.
Hunter went straight over to the action and as he turned back around he walked right into the
clutches of the Crippler who took him straight down in the Crossface.**

Dudleyz issue an open challenge
[Dudleyz Open Challenge]: No-Time-Limit-Match:
The Legion Of Doom defeated The Dudley Boys when Hawk pinned D-Von after the
Doomsday Device in 0:08:46.
Rating: *
(The Legion Of Doom won the WWF Tag Team Champions.)
**The Legion of Doom are back! The LOD have made a return to the WWF and they've taken the
belts away from the Dudley Boyz. D-Von and Buh Buh got over confident after they won the
titles on Monday and made a mistake issuing an open challenge. The ECW based LOD were in the
arena meeting with some old friend's and took exception to this. They stormed out and took
the fight to the Dudleyz.
Animal and Hawk maybe one of the oldest tag teams in wrestling today but they showed the
Dudleyz why they are still in it. A great combination of team work by LOD meant that the
ring was cut off for D-Von to make the tag and it was only a matter of time before they
sealed the victory with the patented Doomsday Device.**
No-Time-Limit-Match:
Chris Jericho pinned Rocky Maivia after a small package in 0:23:48.
Rating: ** 3/4
(Chris Jericho won the WWF Heavyweight Title.)
**Chris Jericho's the new champion! But he's win was tainted because of the constant outside
interference from the Corporation.
Both men had been constantly beaten by the Corporation during this match up, the assults were
timed to perfection as the attacks where as soon as the ref, Earl Hebner's back was turned.
The match seemed to be more of a Lumberjack match then a normal title match as Jericho and
the Rock were knocked down as soon as they left the ring during the bout.
The ending came after Perry Saturn entered the ring and nailed Earl Hebner in the back of the
head with the European title.
This lead to Triple H and Benoit coming into the ring and going to work on the exhausted Rock
and Y2J. The Corporation had laid out both men and a Pedigree from Hunter onto the Rock and
a Swandive headbutt from Jericho was enough for the Corporation to call it a day before they
began to leave.
Earl Hebner got up shortly afterwards and began to countdown both men to the delight of the
Corporation. But the Rock got back to his feet before the ten count and the match continued
which caused a fight to break out between Benoit and Hunter as both blamed each other for not
finishing off the Rock. But it wasn't the Rock they needed to worry about! As Maivia went
to finish off Jericho, Jericho rolled him up in a small package for the victory!**
NEWS DESK by Russell Mania
The attack by the Brood onto Rock-A-Billy and Rikishi has led to a concusion from Rikishi and
he will be forced to miss the next few days because of it.
Although Rock-A-Billy Gunn's loan deal with ECW will end before the PPV, he has shown a great deal of
interest in staying in the WWF and if Hardcore Holly feels the same way about ECW, then the
trade could become a more perminant thing.
The highly impressive team of Taka Michinoku and Essa Rios are now officially a tag team, they
have been given a new name and it won't be long till they mix it up with the big guns.
However they won't be facing the Dudley Boys anytime soon. The Dudleys are so upset that an
ECW signed tag team can win the WWF tag titles, that they have gone to ECW to do the same!
You know what the Dudleys say...."Do unto Others as they Do Unto Dudleyz". Can the Dudleyz
win the ECW tag team gold? And more importantly if they do what's going to happen with the
belts?
Finally it's being reported that the WWF higher ups are not happy with several members of the
roster and they will begin making cuts very soon as well as signing new talent in the place.
