**The arena goes silent as the lights come up to start the show...but then the silence is broken
as Kurt Angle's music hits and the Olympic Hero comes out with a huge grin on his face.**
KURT - Now last night at Survivor Series, Your Olympic Hero did the impossible and pinned the
WWF Champion Steve Austin in the ring. Unfortunatly for my fans it was in a tag team
match which meant that I am not the WWF Champion....just the fans champion.
Anyway, I've been talking out the back with our Commissioner Mick Foley, and he agrees
with me that tonight should be a re-match between me and Steve Austin, right here in my
home town!!
**Crowd errupts at the prospect of this.**
KURT - HOWEVER, Steve's manager, Ted DiBiase had beaten me too it and paid the Vice-Prez, Shane
McMahon to book a tag match tonight between Austin, Bull and Test against Me and two
others that I can find.
Shane also made sure that it's the only match that myself or austin will be allowed to
wrestle in tonight.
At first I thought how disgraceful to cheat me out of a one on one match but then I
realised that DiBiase had inadvertantly displayed two of my three I's.
At first, I thought he showed no INTEGRATY by signing the match but then I realised he
was actually showing INTELLEGENCE.
But tonight, Austin in a three on three match I will display my INTENSITY and pin you
again. I will have a shot at that title Austin and I'll do it for my fans!
**Kurt's music hits again as Angle waves to the cheering crowd before leaving.**
THE SHOOTERS (Faarooq/Blackman) Vs. DOGG POUND (Roadogg/R.Steiner) w/ Bulldog
Fairly good opener as the Shooters and Dogg Pound groups took part in two on two action. Yet
again though, Roadogg and Rick Steiner showed little signs of team work and made several errors.
But Faarooq and Steve Blackman's team work was superb as they dominated from start to finish
with fast tags and powerful team moves.
Considering the amount of tag titles won between them, it's surprising that they've not shown
more unity and Davey Boy Smith let them now that after the match by giving them a huge mouthing
off.
However also after the match as Faarooq and Blackman walked back to the locker room, they were
cut off as Crash and Vampiro came running out followed by some referees to start yet another
unplanned HaRdCoRe title defence.
The Shooters (Faarooq and Steve Blackman) defeated
Dogg Pound (Jesse James and Rick Steiner) when Blackman pinned J. James
with the Jumping Kick in 0:06:42.

WWF 24/7 HaRdCoRe Title Challenge
FAAROOQ (C) Vs. BLACKMAN Vs. CRASH Vs. BULLDOG Vs. VAMPIRO
The match started between the four men as Blackman tried to help Faarooq fight off Crash and
Vampiro. But the Bulldog noticed this and ran away from telling off Road Dogg and Steiner to
join the fight as well.
This allowed Faarooq and Blackman to be seperated and it wasn't long before Vampiro picked up
the pin after nailing him with a steel chair.
But Vampiro's title reign didn't last long as Steve Blackman hit the Jumping Kick on the Dark
Angel to pick up the title himself.
However the action didn't end there as with Faarooq and Vamprio down, there were still two men
for Blackman to get by.....a trash can to the back of the head was enough to put the Lethal
Weapon down for the Bulldog to pick up the title as well!
The last title change happened almost immediatly as Bulldog was caught in the Crashlanding
hurricanrana onto the same Trash Can that Bulldog used to beat Blackman.
With the other four people still dazed, Crash quickly made his escape before they could have
a chance at winning the title back.
x Vampiro defeated Faarooq after a chair shot in 0:02:04
(Vampiro won the HaRdCoRe title.)
x Blackman defeated Vampiro after the Jumping Kick in 0:02:39
(Steve Blackman won the HaRdCoRe title.)
x Bulldog defeated Blackman with a Trash Can in 0:03:47
(The Bulldog won the HaRdCoRe title.)
x Crash defeated Bulldog after the Crashlanding in 0:04:19
(Crash ESCAPED with the HaRdCoRe title.)
Rating: 3/4*
(Crash won the HaRdCoRe title.)
**Edge is shown stretching before the match as Christian walks in looking upset.**
CHRS - I just heard we got to face Latino Heat tonight.
EDGE - Ya, what's the problem man?
CHRS - What's the problem! Last night, that's what. I mean you totally turned on me in that
Survivor Series match.
EDGE - We were on opposite teams man. I had too.
CHRS - We agreed before the match that we'd only fight if it came down to just us two and you
totally blew that arrangement. I mean that was Bogus.
EDGE - Hey, it was down to me against you and Vampiro. I had to get the sides even, I can't
understand why you're going over the top.
CHRS - Yeah, well we'll sort this out when after the match. We gotta team up against the Heat
now.
EDGE - OK, peace man, chill. We'll sort it but as you said time to make Essa Rios and Eddy
Guerrero feel OUR HEAT.
**Edge and Christian high five and then walk out the locker room to ringside.**
BLOOD BROTHERS (Edge/Christian) Vs. LATINO HEAT (Guerrero/Rios) w/t Kat & Chyna
After last night at Survivor Series, a lot of questions were asked about the future of the
Blood Brothers. But before the match, Edge and Christian appeared to sort out their problems
and started the bout with their usual display of team work.
But the real story in this match was when Edge speared Christian deliberatly and then left the
ring without turning around.
Latino Heat where as shocked as anyone and at first weren't sure if they should carry on with
the match or not. As Christian staggered back to his feet, they decided to anyway with led to
Essa Rios and Eddy Guerrero hitting a Double Powerbomb to pick up the win.
Latino Heat defeated Blood Brothers when E. Guerrero pinned Christian after a Double Powerbomb
in 0:08:23.
Rating: ** 3/4
**As Latino Heat are celebrating in the ring, Christian rolls to the outside and grabs his
Lightweight Title.
Christian starts to make his way up the ramp but stops when he sees Edge at the top of the
ramp with a huge smile across his face. He pulls out a microphone.**
EDGE - Well brother dear, looks like you lost again. If you haven't guessed yet I've had enough
of being teamed with a loser like you. I mean what have you accomplished in the WWF
without me?
NOTHING, you've held a Lightweight title and let's face it, that division isn't exactly
full of talent.
But you see, I am destined for greatness and I can't achieve that with you dragging me
down and so being constantly booked into tag team match after tag team match.
I'm going to prove myself in singles competition and I'm not having anybody hold me back
again.
Family or no family, Edge is making an impact!
**Edge then turns his back on Christian and walks backstage as Christian stands open mouthed in
stuned shock. **
'Mr Ass' BILLY GUNN w/t Trish Vs. 'Dangerous' KEN SHAMROCK
One of the best matches of Billy Gunn's career as he tested Ken Shamrock to the very brink of
his abilities.
Despite her presence at ringside, Trish stayed out of the match physically allowing the skills
of both men to show.
Billy Gunn was able to block most of Shamrock's takedowns and provided a lot of momentum of his
own with some technical moves of his own that where completely out of character for him. But
despite this momentum from Billy Gunn he was unable to put Shamrock away as he managed to kick
out of a devistating Jackhammer with a close two fall.
Eventually though, Shamrock was able to get the win after he moved away from Billy Gunn as he
lept up for the Fame-Ass-Er and applied the Ankle Lock before GUnn could recover.
Ken Shamrock made Billy Gunn submit to the Ankle Lock Submission in 0:12:05.
Rating: *** 3/4
KEVIN NASH w/t Scott Hall Vs. 'Big Red Machine' KANE w/t Triple Syxx
The battle of the big men wasn't a classic by all means for the technical fans in the audience
as these monsters turned this match into an all out brawl.
Scott Hall and Triple Syxx also got involved in this one as the referee obviously lost control
in the early goings. Kane and Nash both hit powerful chokeslams on each other but neither were
able to get the full three count.
The ending came after Scott Hall and Kevin Nash shoved Kane face first into the ring steps as
Triple Syxx's attempts were held of by the referee. Then it was just a matter of time before
Big Sexy was able to get Kane up for the Jackknife.
No-Time-Limit-Match:
Kevin Nash pinned Kane with the Jackknife Power Bomb in 0:16:23.

SCOTT HALL Vs. 'Heartbreak Kid' SHAWN MICHAELS
The Heartbreak Kid attempted to pick up another win over the OutKasts, this time in singles
competition as he took on Scott Hall in this match.
HBK was on form as he simple went to work on Scott Hall showing that even though it's only been
a month since his return, he is back to form already.
But the ending was extremely controversial as the referee got knocked down, inadvertantly by
Scott Hall when he was whipped into him by Shawn Michaels. This gave the OutKasts the chance
to strike and Triple H ran down armed with a steel chair.
Triple H swung for Shawn but he ducked and it was Hall who got the chair in the face. HBK then
connected with a Superkick on Triple H sending him to the outside and made the cover on Scott
Hall.
The referee then crawled over and counted the one....two......three. But as the ref got back
to his feet, he saw the chair in the ring and Scott Hall's bloodied face and instantly called
for a reversal due to disqualification as he believed HBK used the chair.
Scott Hall defeated Shawn Michaels by disqualification in 0:13:23.
Rating: ** 3/4
**As Shawn Michaels gets in the face of the referee for Disqualifying him, Kevin Nash and
'The Game' Triple H slide into the ring.
HBK is knocked down by a huge Nash boot to the back of the head which sends him crashing into
the referee. As the ref falls to the outside, Michaels falls to the mat and the OutKasts
begin stomping away at him.
Kevin Nash drags Shawn Michaels back to his feet and throws him towards Triple H. Hunter
kicks him in the mid section and delivers a Pedigree to him.
Michaels is layed out on the mat as Hall and Nash kick away at him and Triple H grabs a
microphone.**
HHH - Well Shawn, you got the better of us last night at Survivor Series but it's not over
between us. Us three and Benoit are doing what it takes to prove to people like you,
that we are the future of the WWF.
Michaels, Foley, Rock, Jericho and any of you other a$$holes out back who got a problem
with that, will have us to deal with. Come on guys.
**Helmsley throws down the microphone and leaves followed by Kevin Nash, Scott Hall and
Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley**
'Thug' TAZZ Vs. 'Crippler' CHRIS BENOIT
Tazz put his title on the line here in the match of the night against the Crippler. Before the
match both men came down with support in the form of the Dudley Boys and Nash&Hall but they
were sent to the backstage area by the referee to prevent any more interference like in the
last two matches.
The match was pure wrestling as Benoit and Tazz's styles caused both men to pull out all the
stops in an attempt to walk away with the Intercontinental title.
Benoit's technical ability gave him the lead early on but that soon changed when a standing
crossface was reversed into a T-Bone suplex giving Tazz an opportunity to show his special
talent. The Tazzplexes soon gave Tazz the led and looked set to win after he applied the
TazzMission onto Benoit.
But somehow Chris Benoit was able to get out of it enough to apply the Crippler Crossface to
Tazz right in the centre of the ring.
Despite Tazz's best attempts, he was unable to get out of the hold and eventually tapped out
to make Benoit the NEW Intercontinental champ.
Chris Benoit made Tazz submit to the Crippler Crossface in 0:15:29.
Rating: **** 1/2
(Chris Benoit won the WWF Intercontinental Title.)
**Mick Foley's theme hits as the Commissioner wakls out with a microphone.**
MICK - Well I'm out here because I was helping Kurt Angle plan for the match, when we realised
that Shane said that the teams couldn't be changed for the event between Kurt Angle and
two others and Austin, Test and Bull Buchanon.
BUT he didn't say we couldn't ADD teams to the match.......So now the next match will be
a four corner three person match!
In one corner will be Austin's team.....in another will be Triple H with StratusPhere....
..in another will be Jericho, Triple Syxx and Al Snow.
FINALLY we'll have Kurt Angle and his partners.....Matt & Jeff HARDY!!
So you twelve people get down here now for this match. All managers are banned from
ringside and will be an elimination match. When one person is pinned, his entire team
has to leave.
MAIN EVENT - Four Corners, Three Person match
ANGLE & HARDY BOYS Vs. TRIPLE H & STRATUSPHERE Vs. JERICHO/SNOW/666 Vs. AUSTIN/BULL/TEST
The main event saw twelve of the top stars going at it in this four corner, three person match.
The match was a lot quicker then anyone would have expected after Al Snow/Jericho and 666 were
eliminated after a Pedigree on Snow left him out for the count.
The second pinfall involved good team work from Angle and the Hardys, as a Double Twist of Fate
from Matt and Jeff left Saturn dazed allowing Kurt Angle to hit the Olympic Slam onto him as he
staggered back to his feet.
The final two teams then decided to hell with tag format and a fight between all six men began
with the Hardys going for Bull and Test as Austin and Kurt Angle slugged it out.
But Kurt got caught as Ted DiBiase distracted him by hitting him in the back of the head....Kurt
dragged DiBiase into the ring and hit the Olympic Slam him but Austin pounced with the Sell Out
Stunner as Test and Bull kept the Hardy Boys busy.
Million Dollar Corporation (Bull Buchanan/Steve Austin/Test) defeated
StratusPhere and Hunter Hearst Helmsley, Chris Jericho, Al Snow and Triple Syxx
and The Hardy Boyz and Kurt Angle:
x Triple H beat Snow via the Pedigree in 0:07:38
x Angle beat Saturn via the Olympic Slam in 0:10:18
x S. Austin beat Angle via the Sell Out Stunner in 0:15:55
