T'N'T w/t Trish & Terri Vs. THE FALLEN
The debut of the newly formed tag team of Venis and Edge was a great sucess. Venis and Edge
worked very well together against the Fallen.
T'n'T got the win with a devasating double team move that Trish (who was on color-commentary)
called the Money Spiral.
It was Edge's Downward Spiral followed by the Money Shot from Val Venis and it completely
knocked the air out of Christian.
T'n'T defeated The Fallen when Val Venis pinned Christian with the Money Spiral in 0:12:16.
Rating: ** 1/4
**In the ring Edge and Venis are celebrating as Trish Stratus and Terri cheer them on.
The crowd jump to their feet though as the Hardy Boys theme plays as Matt, Jeff and Lita
come out and stand at the top of the ramp.**
MATT - Last week, you put out a challenge to us for a match at WRESTLEMANIA. Well everyone
knows that we won't back down from a challenge and as you cost us the tag team titles,
nothing would give us greater plesure then to kick your ass.
TERR - You accept, Good. But you're too confident, this team will win on April 1st because
T'n'T are the MOST Explosive team in the WWF.
TRSH - And Lita, you better keep out of this one because if not you'll have me or Terri to deal
with.
LITA - Is that a fact well lets see what you've got then. How about we go at it on SMACKDOWN
in an intergender tag match.
TRSH - You got it. The result on Smackdown will be just a small taste as to what your friends
will get at WRESTLEMANIA.
**The Hardys and Lita's music plays again as we cut to commericals.**
PERRY SATURN Vs. EDDIE GUERRERO
The former Radicalz met in a fairly good match that Perry Saturn was close to winning until he
made a huge mistake by underestimating Eddie Guerrero.
Saturn had control after a marvoulous series of take down holds and signaled for the end. He
took Eddie up for a Superplex but Guerrero reversed it into a DDT off the top rope. Saturn was
able to get a shoulder up when Eddie covered but when Guerrero nailed him with a hurricanrana
and then the Frog Splash it was all over.
Eddie Guerrero defeated Saturn with the Frog Splash in 0:07:45.
Rating: ** 1/4
Al Snow took on Tazz and was given a lesson in wrestling by the Orange and Black Attack. Tazz
sent Al Snow from one side of the ring to the other with his Tazplexes.
Snow took a dangerous looking Head and Arm Tazplex that dumped him on his skull. Tazz seemed
content to hand out the punishement to the Snow-Man.
Al Snow tried to fight back but found that he was unable to have any sustained offence.
Eventually Tazz put Al Snow away with the Northern Lights suplex.
Tazz pinned Al Snow after a Northern Lights suplex in 0:10:48.
Rating: ** 1/4
**Tazz grabs a microphone from the timekeeper and returns to the ring.**
TAZZ - You all saw me destroy Al Snow, but I don't want to fight people like him. I want WWF
Gold and I came damn close last week against Shamrock, so how about this Ken...a rematch
at WRESTLEMANIA?
**"Danger" plays as the Intercontinental Champion, Ken Shamrock comes out.**
SHAM - Tazz, normally I'd turn you down in an instant but you do have a point, you did come
close last week so you WILL get the match at WRESTLEMANIA.
However, if we're going to do this again, then I'm going to do it right.
On Sunday 1st April, it'll be me verses you for the Intercontinental championship in an
OCTOGON!!
TAZZ - A lionsden match! You got it Shamrock, that suits me perfectly.
SHAM - No excuses this time, no one can get in, there WILL be a winner.
TAZZ - And that winner will be me.
SHAM - Don't count on it.
TRIPLE H w/t Steph Vs. MICK FOLEY
Commissioner Foley took on the Game in a match that Triple H requested as payback for Foley
making HBK the referee in his PPV match.
The match was over before it had a chance to get started after the Sandman came out and went
right for Mick Foley with the Singapore Cane. Shane McMahon then came out clapping at these
disgusting actions.
Triple H hit the Pedigree onto Mick Foley despite the DQ being called. HHH then exited the
ring as the Sandman attacked Foley some more.
Mick Foley defeated Triple H by disqualification in 0:06:38.
Rating: **
**The Sandman continues his attack on Mick Foley as Shane McMahon looks on with a demonic look
on his face.
Mick Foley has now been busted open with the Singapore Cane but the Sandman refuses to stop.
Al Snow and Chavo Guerrero run from out of the back to help the Commissioner. Sandman and
Shane McMahon quickly dive out of harms ways as Snow and Chavo make it to the ring.
We go to another advertisement break as Mick Foley is surrounded by EMTs.**
**We return to Raw as Mick Foley is being checked over by an EMT.**
MICK - Look I tell you I'm fine now, it's just a bit of blood. I'm used to it.
EMT1 - It looks more serious then that I'm afraid. We're going to take you to the hospital
anyway to get you checked over.
MICK - Why? Trust me, I'd know if I'd got a concussion or something, I've been getting them all
my life.
EMT1 - I'm sorry, it's standard procedure.
MICK - Yeah, OK. Sorry, I know you're just doing you job. Come on, sooner we get to a hospital,
sooner I can get back and sort out the Sandman.
THE HOLLYS w/t Molly Vs. M.D.GROUP (Bull/Test)
Crash and Hardcore Bob had a tough match against Bull and Test. But it was a good match for
them to have as it'd help them get used to facing bigger men, for they will face DOOM at
WRESTLEMANIA for the titles.
Surprisingly Crash was able to get the win with a belly-to-back superplex on Bull Buchanan!!
This happened after the Bull went for his springboard clothesline but Crash dived on the ropes
before he lept. Bull was left straddled on the top rope and Crash climbed up for the belly-to-
back superplex and the win.
The Holly's defeated Million Dollar Group (Bull Buchanan and Test) when Crash pinned Buchanan
after a belly-to-back superplex in 0:14:42.
Rating: * 1/2
**The Hollys theme plays but it is soon stopped as Crush and Wrath leap over the ring barriers
and begin to attack the Hollys.
Crash is given the Meltdown Pumphandle by Wrath as Hardcore Bob falls victim to a Crush full-
nelson slam.
Doom aren't finished there as they set up Crash for the Double Chokeslam and drop the Houdini
of Hardcore with it.
Hardcore Bob Holly is given a Double Chokeslam as well by the tag team champs.
NO CHANCE IN HELL plays as the Corporate Cronies continue to kick away at the number one
contenders.**
**NO CHANCE IN HELL continues to play as Shane McMahon walks out.**
SHAN - Crush, Wrath, that's enough. I've just put you in the next match so I don't want you two
getting tired for the next one.
You see as Commissioner Foley has left the building, I guess it's up to me to sign the
main event.
Chris Benoit will team up with Doom to take on Kane and The Rock in a handicap match for
the WWF Championship!
If anyone of the Corporation team pins either Rock or Kane, then Chris Benoit becomes the
champion and the Rock won't be going to WRESTLEMANIA.
But if Kane or Rock win then the Rock gets to keep that championship, of course, that is
if they win.
THREE ON TWO HARDCORE HANDICAP MATCH
KANE & THE ROCK Vs. CHRIS BENOIT & DOOM
For the second show in sucession, the Rock found himself in a handicap match. But once again
he was able to win with his determination and ability....plus having a 7 foot plus monster as a
partner helped him a bit too.
Kane got the pin for his team after Crush and Wrath went for the Double Chokeslam on him as the
Rock and Benoit fought on the outside.
Doom tried to hit the move but Kane fought out with an elbow to each man. He then hit the
Chokeslam from Hell on Wrath as Crush tried to shake the cobwebs out.
Crush broke up the pinfall by Kane on Wrath but that just made the Big Red Machine even more
mad. Kane set up and delivered a Tombstone to the Hawaian. Kane made the cover as the Rock
managed to keep Benoit out of the ring and Wrath remained down.
So Kane got the pin and so helped the Rock retain the title once more.
Kane and The Rock defeated Doom and Chris Benoit when Kane pinned Crush with the Tombstone in
0:09:03.
Rating: * 1/4
(The Rock retained the WWF Championship.)
