in the contract.**
**Steve Austin comes out to the arena as the highlights end and strolls to the ring where he
pulls out a microphone.**
3:16 - Well you all saw last week that I once again became the no#1 contender for the WWF
Championship. At WRESTLEMANIA, it'll be me against the Rock.
In just under three weeks time, I will take that title away from the Rock and become
champion again!
There isn't no one who can stop me and that's the bottom line cause Ted DiBiase pays me
ti say so.
**Austin goes to exit the ring but the lights go out....BBBOOOOOOMMM!! Fire Pyros shoot out
from the corners as Kane comes out to a good reaction.**
KANE - Austin....If you are confident....that you can't be stopped.....me and you.....tonight!
3:16 - You Big Red Retard, you seriously think you can beat me again! You may have been lucky
at NO WAY OUT, but tonight it'll be me coming out on top.
KANE - We'll see......Austin.
EDGE w/t DiBiase Vs. EDDIE GUERRERO w/t Chyna
First match saw Latino Heat take on Edge of the M.D.Group. As usual with any match involving
the M.D.Group, Ted DiBiase tried to get involved as much as he could.
Eddie came very near to picking up the win but DiBiase nailed Chyna with the briefcase on the
outside after she stopped him interfering. This did the trick as Eddie forgot about Edge and
chased after Ted DiBiase on the outside. Ted slide in the ring and out the other side but as
Eddie followed Edge cut him off with the Spear. He then followed up with the Edge-A-Matic.
Edge pinned Eddie Guerrero with the Edge-a-matic in 0:11:05.
Rating: *** 3/4
WWF LIGHTWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
JUVENTUD GUERRERA (C.) Vs. REY MISTERIO Jr.
Juventud's Lightweight title was on the line next as he took on the masked Misterio Jr in an
epic battle between these two. As you can always expect with the Lightweight division it was
fast and furious as both men took to the air to win.
Juvy's grip on the belt ended though after he knocked Rey down with a dropkick. Guerrera went
up top for a highrisk move but Misterio got up and got up the buckle as well. After a struggle
Rey got the better of Juventud and hit a Top-Rope Frankensteiner for the title!
Rey Misterio Jr. pinned Juventud Guerrera with the Top-Rope Frankensteiner in 0:13:26.
Rating: *** 1/2
(Rey Misterio Jr. won the WWF Lightweight Title.)
**Juventud Guerrera snatches a microphone from the timekeeper and re-enters the ring. He spins
Rey Misterio Jr. around to face him.**
JUVY - Mysterio, you were lucky and I want a rematch. Not tonight, but on the 1st April.
I want you to put the Lightweight championship on the line against me at WRESTLEMANIA X7.
What do you say Rey? You accept?
**Mysterio stares at Juventud through his mask before nodding his acceptance.**
JUVY - Excellent, I'll see you at WRESTLEMANIA then.
**Rey turns to leave but Juventud nails him from behind with the microphone and then hits the
Juvy-Driver on the new Champion.**
JUVY - You masked freak, how dare you take this belt from me. I'll beat you so badly, that
you'll HAVE to wear that mask to stop scaring children.
**Juventud then spits on the fallen Rey and leaves to a series of boos.**
HOLLYS Vs. HARDYS Vs. FALLEN Vs. SNOW/CHAVO
This match for a title shot on Smackdown began with the Fallen, falling first. Christian and
Chavo started the match and Christian looked like he had control but Chavo reversed an attempt
at the Unprettier into a shoulder high face slam. Chavo hit the brainbuster on Christian as
a follow up and then delivered a standing Moonsault for the first fall.
Next elimination was the Holly Cousins after all three teams came in the ring at once. Crash
suffered the Poetry in Motion from the Hardy Boys as Chavo was clotheslined over the top by
Hardcore Bob Holly. As Crash staggered out of the corner, Al Snow hit him with the Snow Plow
and the pin.
As the pin was being made though, Molly Holly entered the ring to break it up but Lita came
off the top rope with the Litacanrana that sent the two Femme Fatales outside.
Chavo was still down on the outside as Jeff Hardy climbed the top rope. Jeff hit the Swanton
Bomb to the outside on Chavo that left both men out of commission. Meanwhile in the ring Al
Snow tried to use Head on Matt Hardy only for Lita to get involved again and snatched Head from
his grasp. Lita nailed Al Snow with Head which sent him to the mat. Snow got back up again
and Matt Hardy was waiting with the Twist of Fate.
The Hardys win and will face Doom on Smackdown!
The Hardy Boyz defeated The Fallen, The Holly's and Al Snow and Chavo Guerrero Jr.:
x Chavo beat Christian via a moonsault in 0:04:33
x Snow beat Crash via the Snow Plow in 0:13:00
x M. Hardy beat Snow via the Twist of Fate in 0:13:50

What a match between these two athletes. Y2J pulled off an amazing win despite having been hit
with several of Tazz's most vicious Tazplexes.
Jericho's win came after he escaped the Tazmission by running backwards into the turnbuckle.
Tazz appeared to bang his head quite badly and released the hold, Y2J followed up with the
face crusher out of the corner and then the Springboard Asai moonsault gave him the win.
Chris Jericho pinned Tazz after an Asai moonsault in 0:13:03.
Rating: ** 1/4
**Tazz is picking himself up off the mat as Jericho turns to leave. Suddenly Sabu comes
running down the aisle and slides into the ring. He goes straight for Jericho as Tazz looks
on.
Jericho is soon overpowered due to his fatigue and Sabu goes outside for a chair. Tazz steps
in front of Sabu though to stop him but Sabu just shoves him out of the way and clobbers Y2J
across the head.
We see Tazz shake his head at Sabu's actions and the Human Suplex Machine walks to the back
stage area as Sabu is continuing the assult on Jericho.
The show cuts to an advertisement break as Sabu holds up a bloodied Jericho by the hair and
then rams Y2J's head into a steel chair.**
MICK FOLEY/RAZOR RAMON Vs. BILLY GUNN/SANDMAN
A tag match without much history really, it was just an excuse by Mick Foley for Razor Ramon
and himself to get a little payback on their opponents from the last few weeks.
Razor and Foley were able to win a closly contested match after Mick Foley got the Mandible
Claw on Sandman as he attempted a DDT. Gunn tried to interfere but ended up on the mat after
a Razor's Edge.
Mick Foley and Razor Ramon defeated Billy Gunn and The Sandman when Foley made Sandman submit
to the Mandible Claw in 0:14:46.

Kane took on Steve Austin one-on-one in their first meeting since the Hell in the Cell at NO
WAY OUT. But Austin wasn't interested in a fair fight or a one on one match up.
Within six mins of the match starting Steve signaled to the back which led to Bull and Dynamite
coming out. Kane tried to fight them off but got over powered after several chair shots and
a Diving Headbutt from Dynamite.
Kane defeated Steve Austin by disqualification in 0:07:29.
Rating: **
**Kane is continually assulted by Bull and Dynamite of the M.D.Group as Steve Austin regroups
in the corner.
But the attack is short lived as the Rock runs down the aisle armed with a steel chair.
Rock nails Dynamite in the head with it sending him outside. Then the Rock and Austin begin
a slugfest in the corner with both men failing to get an advantage.
Meanwhile Kane has managed to recover enough to deliver the Chokeslam from Hell on Bull
Buchanan.
Austin has finally got the advantage thanks to Dynamite using the steel chair on the Rock.
Dynamite then tries to use it on Kane. But Kane grabs Dynamite in another Chokeslam from
Hell, as Austin delivers the Sell Out Stunner to the Rock.
Austin then gets back up but as he taunts the Rock, he fails to see Kane behind him.
The Big Red Machine spins him around and delivers a Tombstone to the Rattlesnake.
We go off the air as Kane drops his arms for the Fire Pryos to go off.
He is the only man standing in the ring now as Rock, Dynamite, Austin and Bull lay scattered
around the ring.**
