**We open with highlights from last week with Tazz winning the NO WAY OUT title shot in a fatal
fourway match. We then cut backstage with Ted DiBiase who is talking with Steve Austin.**
$TED - Well I'm sorry Steve, we tried as hard as we could last week to get that NO WAY OUT
title shot but Foley screwed us again.
3:16 - I don't care about your excuses. I agreed to join forces with you for one reason. You
promised me that I'd have that title around my waist for as long as I wanted.
$TED - ...Well that and the sh!t load of money I promised you.
3:16 - Ok, two reasons.
Anyway, I won the title but that damn Rock defeated me for it at the RUMBLE. Now I want
a re-match and the only way is to get the NO WAY OUT title shot.
And then at WRESTLEMANIA X-7, it'll be me against Benoit.
$TED - Wait a minute. I just thought of something, we're going about this all wrong. We tried
to win the NO WAY OUT title shot but we failed...BUT Tazz is the no#1 contender.
3:16 - What's your point?
$TED - I'm confident that I have several thousand things that'll convince Tazz to hand over
his title shot to us.
3:16 - You think it'll work......Go for it then. Find him and pay him whatever it takes.
$TED - Right. Wait here Steve, I'll be back with your shot within the hour.
INTER-GENDER TAG MATCH
STRATUSPHERE & TRISH Vs. THE HARDY BOYZ & LITA
The opening match saw an intergender tag match take place to replace the originally scheduled
bout which was Gunn, Saturn & Venis against the Hardys and Eddie Guerrero. But when Billy Gunn
no-showed at the arena the match was switched to include the two manager valets.
It was still a great match though and the Hardy/StratusPhere fued continued in this match but
the ladies where the ones involved in the final result.
Lita went for the Twist of Fate on Trish but Venis nailed her from behind. This allowed Trish
to hit her version of the Famouser called StratusFaction. Trish then made the cover as Venis
and Saturn held off Matt and Jeff Hardy.
Strat-Ass (Saturn, Trish Stratus and Val Venis) defeated The Hardy Boyz and Lita when Trish
pinned Lita with the Stratusfaction in 0:07:08.

"Lil Heat" ESSA RIOS Vs. JUVENTUD GUERRERA
Juvi continued his WWF career with an impressive win over one of the Tag Team champions. Essa
still put up a great fight though as these two Lightweights battled it out.
Rios came close after he hit a brainbuster but when he attempted the Riosault, Juvi dived onto
the ropes and caused Essa to fall to the mat. This then allowed Guerrera to move in for the
kill and before Essa could recover, he was put in the running power bomb for the three.
Juventud Guerrera pinned Essa Rios after a running power bomb in 0:11:41.

**Tazz is shown backstage in the Team Extreme locker room. The Dudley Boys are sitting either
side of him as well.**
TAZZ - Now listen, I've just heard that you two will be getting the tag title shots against
Latino Heat at NO WAY OUT.
So with me facing the Rock for the World title, let's make this next PPV, a Team Extreme
night.
DVON - Finally a chance to bring a little Ee-Cee-Dub to the Dubya Dubya Eff.
**There is a knock at the door. Buh Buh Ray opens the door and Ted DiBiase comes in with a
briefcase at his side. He walks into the room and places the unopened briefcase onto a table
in front of Tazz.**
TAZZ - What do you want DiBiase?
$TED - Now don't take that tone with me......I'm here to make a deal.
TAZZ - Let me guess, Steve Austin wants my title shot for NO WAY OUT.
$TED - Spot on Tazz. That's why I like you, you're smart. Yes I'm here on behalf of Austin to
offer you this.......
**DiBiase opens the briefcase to reveal it is full of $20.00 bills. D-Von and Buh Buh Ray Dudley
almost fall over as they dive towards the money to check it.**
BBRD - It's real boss.
$TED - Of course it's real you idiot. So come on Tazz. All you've got to do is give us the NO
WAY OUT title shot.
TAZZ - I know how the WWF works and I doubt I'll have another shot at the World title again.
So I'm going to turn down your generous offer.
$TED - What?
DVON - Double What?
BBRD - Who?...Err....I mean What?
TAZZ - No deal DiBiase. I fought hard for that title shot and I'm taking it and the title belt.
$TED - You're sure about this?
TAZZ - 100%, now get out of here before I smack the taste out of your mouth.
$TED - I'm disappointed Tazz....I thought you were smarter then this.
**Ted DiBiase closes the briefcase and leaves the locker room as the Dudleys look at him and
then back at Tazz.**
DVON - What the hell was that crap about man? We could have had it made then.
BBRD - Yeah, what's wrong with you.
TAZZ - I know it was a lot but I'm not going to hand over the title shot that I won fair and
square. If he does it once, he'll try again. I mean would you two sell your title shots
as quickly as that?
DVON - Without hesitation.
BBRD - No.....Errr.....I mean what D-Von said.
TAZZ - Well that's where we differ. I thought we all stood for the same thing, respect! You
can't find that in a cheque.
DVON - Who cares! It's a sh!t load of money.
TAZZ - That's it, I'm outta here. I got to think things over, if this is how you are I don't
think I want to be a part of this group anymore.
**With that Tazz gets up and leaves the locker room as the Dudley Boys shake their heads in
disbelief.**

WWF HaRdCoRe TITLE MATCH
AL SNOW (C) Vs. CRASH Vs. SABU Vs. TEST
A scheduled HaRdCoRe match saw Al Snow try and put the belt up against three men, but it wasn't
to be as he became nothing more then a moving target for the others.
The assult on Snow began as soon as he came out, Crash ran out behind him and nailed him with
a baking sheet. As Crash tried to make the cover, Sabu and Test ran out and joined the fray as
the match got under way.
Snow soon staggered into the ring as Sabu, Test and Crash fought over who should get the pin
but his recovered didn't last long as the others joined him in the ring.
Crash went to cover Al Snow after a beutiful swinging DDT onto a trash can but Test broke it
up with a chair shot.
Test then tried to go for Al Snow but Sabu throwed the ringbell at Test, that sent him to the
canvas. Sabu then dropped a chair onto the face of Test and bounced off the ropes to deliver
a leg drop onto the chair. As Snow and Crash hit a neckbreaker on each other on the outside,
Sabu was unchallenged and made the pin on Test to become four time champion.
Sabu defeated Crash, Test and Al Snow when Sabu pinned Test after a legdrop in 0:08:11.
Rating: 1/4*
(Sabu won the WWF HaRdCoRe Title.)
24/7 WWF HaRdCoRe TITLE MATCH
SABU (C) Vs. HARDCORE HOLLY
Sabu's reign didn't last long because as he tried to get back to his feet, we saw Hardcore Bob
Holly run out from the back armed with a trash can of his own. Holly was chased by Mike Keaota
and it was obvious that it was another 24/7 match.
Holly made short work of the fatigued Sabu after he put the can onto Sabu's head. With Sabu
still inside the trash can, Hardcore Holly hit his Falcon Arrow (Hollycaust) finisher and made
the pin.
Bob Holly then escaped as quick as he had appeared with the HaRdCoRe title in his grasp.
Hardcore Holly pinned Sabu with the Hollycaust in 0:00:40.
Rating: ***
(Hardcore Holly won the WWF HaRdCoRe Title.)

**Christian's music hits as he walks out with a microphone.**
CHRS - Edge, Bull last week you attacked me and so I challenged you to a tag team match. Well
the time has totally come for me to bring out my tag team partner to challenge you.....
hit my music again.
**Christian's music plays for the second time as a man with the same build as Edge walks out to
a confused reaction.**
CHRS - Now, you people out here won't know who this guy is but Edge does. Yes, this is the man
who trained with us when we first came into wrestling!
This is Chris Daniels.....and we are .......the FALLEN!
**The MD theme plays as Edge and Bull come out.**
EDGE - Chris Daniels, I forgot all about you. Well Christian, you made a big mistake choosing
him. Don't you realise why he didn't join the WWF at the same time we did, despite him
training for over two years before we started?
It's simple, it's because he's not good enough! The Fallen, what a great name, it must
have taken nearly a full ten seconds to come up with that.
CHRS - Enough talk brother. Let's just get this damn match underway and we'll see which of us
has the better team.
MDGROUP (Bull/Edge) Vs. THE FALLEN
The debut not only of Chris Daniels, but this new tag team known as the Fallen was an exiting
affair as the former Blood Brothers (Edge/Christian) found themselves on opposite sides of the
ring once more.
Christian and Edge's rivalry has been intense for quite some time and now that both brothers
havew re-joined the tag division with new partners, it seems like it'll be a while before this
brotherly fued slows down.
Daniels was the shock of this match as he quickly got into the match despite being his first
match in the WWF! But the ending came after Edge attempted the Edge-A-Matic on Chris Daniels,
Christian came in and caught Edge from behind and delivered the Unprettier to his brother and
made the cover. Bull tried to break it up but Chris Daniels hit him with a Gut Wrench DDT that
he calls the Last Rites.
The Fallen defeated MD Group (Bull Buchanan and Edge) when Christian pinned Edge with the
Unprettier in 0:13:16.

INTERCONTINENTAL NO#1 CONTENDERSHIP
'Y2J' CHRIS JERICHO Vs. 'Dangerous' KEN SHAMROCK
This match could have been the best of the night but Chris Benoit put a stop to that after
only five minutes as he came out armed with a steel chair.
Earlier in the night, Benoit has complained about this match claiming that as champion he
should be able to pick his next opponent.
Benoit entered the ring and nailed Shamrock in the back of the head with a brutal chair shot
and then nailed Jericho with one as well which led to Teddy Long calling the no decision.
Ken Shamrock and Chris Jericho battled to a no decision in 0:05:29.
Rating: ** 3/4
**Benoit continues to work over Jericho with the steel chair but Ken Shamrock has retuened to
the ring and spins the Crippler round.
Shamrock gives some rights and lefts to Chris Benoit and then DDT's him. Chris Benoit slides
to the outside and backs up the aisle as Ken Shamrock helps Chris Jericho back to his feet.
Jericho and Shamrock exchange a look but then both stare at Chris Benoit as he's almost behind
the curtain.
'Mankind Wreck' plays as Commissioner Foley walks out and blocks Benoit's escape route.**
MICK - Benoit, you want to come out here and attack Jericho and Shamrock....well as you want to
get your hands on them so much, I'm going to sign a match for NO WAY OUT.
Triple Threat rules for your WWF Intercontinental Championship.
Benoit, Shamrock, Jericho. In a few weeks time, we'll see who wants the Intercontinental
championship the most.....and that's FINAL!

TRIPLE H w/t Steph Vs. 'Last Call' SCOTT HALL
Another match between the two fueding Dx factions saw Scott Hall challenge The Game and come
very close to walking out of here with a victory.
Hall survived some near falls of his own as the Game put him down with some high knees and Hall
almost gave up to Triple H's dragon sleeper. Scott Hall soon fought back and found himself in
control after a great superplex off the top rope.
But the ending wasn't going to be in the Cliqs favour after Kevin Nash came out and caused the
distraction to Earl Hebner as Scott Hall set up HHH for the OutKast Edge.
Nash's distraction allowed Stephanie to enter and she delivered a low-kick to Scott Hall, which
caused him to release the hold and gave HHH the opportunity to hit the Pedigree.
Hedner turned around and counted the three giving the tainted win to DeGeneration X.
The action didn't end there though, as Kevin Nash entered the ring and started beating on Hall
while his Dx team-mate, Triple H joined in.
Hunter Hearst Helmsley pinned Scott Hall after a Pedigree in 0:13:05.
Rating: ***
**As Kevin Nash and Triple H continue to attack Scott Hall, we see Shawn "HBK" Michaels and
Triple Syxx come out behind the curtain and make their way to the ring.
But as they reach the ring, HHH and Nash cut them off and a two on two brawl begins.
HBK begins to get the advantage over HHH but Nash is destroying Triple Syxx.
Then we see Billy Gunn come out from under the ring and he goes straight for Shawn Michaels.
It's just a matter of secs. before HBK is worn down and as Gunn hits HBK with the Fame-Ass-Er
we see Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley grab a microphone.
Nash then delivers the Jack knife to Triple Syxx as HHH puts HBK down again with a Pedigree
before taking the mic from his wife.**
HHH - Michaels, are you that stupid that you didn't expect me and Nash to have a back up!
Last week you said that we should reform the Cliq as all the members had returned to the
WWF.
Well Hall, Michaels and Waltman.....THE HELL WITH THE CLIQ!
You see what I have here is the best of both the Cliq and Dx. Me, Nash and Billy Gunn ARE
the real Degenerates and you three are either past it, not up to it and in the case of
Hall....washed up. And if you're not down with that we got two words for ya..
ALL - SUCK IT!
**With that "the Kings by Run DMC" plays as HHH, Nash, Gunn and Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley
leave to a chorus of boos as the Cliq is still laid out around the ring.**
-------------ADVERTISEMENTS-------------
**We go outside to the parking zone, where we see Tazz walking up to his red jeep. Just as he
opens the door, Ted DiBiase runs up to him again still holding the briefcase.**
$TED - Tazz, I was wondering if you'd thought anymore about my lucrative offer.
TAZZ - Of course I had. Someone comes up to you and offers you a huge stack of cash, you can't
exactly forget about it.
$TED - So? Are you going to accept then?
TAZZ - As much as it pains me, I still have to say no.
$TED - Is it still because you don't think you'll get a title shot against the winner?
TAZZ - Well yeah it is kind of.
$TED - How about if I double the money.
TAZZ - NO! You can't buy my title shot now leave me.
**Tazz shoves DiBiase out of the way but as he turns his back, Ted DiBiase uses the briefcase
as a weapon and hits Tazz in the head with it. DiBiase clicks his fingers and Edge, Bull
and Test all appear from behind vehicles all over the lot and begin to basically mug Tazz.**
$TED - You should have accepted!! Damn it, now how the hell are we going to get the Heavyweight
title back.
**DiBiase then turns around to walk back to the building but his eyes widen in fear and he runs
in the opposite direction past Edge, Bull & Test who are continuing the assult on Tazz.
A few seconds later and we see what DiBiase was running from as The Dudley Boys and Sabu
attack the three MDGroup members.
The fight continues as the camera pans down towards the fallen form of Tazz and then returns
to ringside.**
NON TITLE MATCH
THE ROCK (C) Vs. KANE
After his win on SMACKDOWN over Steve Austin, Mick Foley made this match between Kane and the
Rock.
The match was extremely close as both men came close time and time again to putting the other
away. The crowd were behind both men and when Kane kicked out of the People's Elbow, they
seemed to be favouring the Big Red Machine.
But when the Rock kicked out of a Kane Chokeslam from Hell, the crowd seemed to be favouring
the Rock again.
Kane tried as much as he could but the People's Champion just got the win when Kane's chokeslam
attempt was reversed into the Rock Bottom.
We ended with the Rock celebrating the victory as Kane left the ring looking disappointed.
Rocky Maivia pinned Kane with the Rock Bottom in 0:15:07.
