No-Time-Limit-Handicap-Match:
Hell Fire defeated
Foreign Fanatics (Essa Rios, Shoichi Funaki and Taka Michinoku) when Bigelow
pinned Michinoku after a splash in 0:05:59.
Rating: *
**Hell Fire proved how dominant they could be in this special 3 on 2 handicap match. Kane and
Bam Bam took the Fanatics out with ease. A chokeslam on Rios after a minute was more then
enough, but Hell Fire let him tag out and then worked over Funaki. A diving headbutt had
Funaki beat, but again Hell Fire let the tag be made and had a little more fun with Taka.
A double powerbomb on Taka knocked him out. Then Kane hit a double chokeslam on Rios and
Funaki simulataniously as Bigelow bounced off the ropes and splashed Taka for the win.**
No-Time-Limit-Match:
Val Venis pinned Billy Gunn with the Money Shot in 0:09:33.
Rating: **
**A match that can only be described as the Battle of the Ass Men! Billy Gunn came out in his
Bad Ass kit and said although he would remain friends with Too Cool, this was who he was and
not the Rock-A-Billy character.
The match was great as Val and Gunn exchanged momentum but in the end it was a mistake by Gunn
that let Venis get the win.
Billy Gunn went for a Fame-Ass-Er from the top rope but Val moved and Gunn knocked the wind
out of himself when he landed. Venis then scrambled up the opposite buckle and nailed the
Money Shot to take the fall.**
No-Time-Limit-Match:
Marty Jannetty defeated Saturn by disqualification in 0:04:50.
Rating: DUD
**Jannetty picks up his first win tonight and it was against the former European champion! But
as it was last night, it wasn't Saturn who lost the match, it was Terri. This time she pushed
Jannetty off the top rope as he was going for a missle dropkick, only to find out that the
referee had seen the entire thing. Instantly the ref through out the match and gave it to
Jannetty.
After the bout, Saturn walked backstage followed by Terri who was apologising to him.**
No-Time-Limit-Non-Title-Match:
Crowbar pinned Gothdust with the Inverted DDT in 0:08:47.
Rating: * 1/2
**The new lightweight Champ, Crowbar defeated Gothdust but it wasn't with out help. During the
match, Gangrel came down followed by Hell Fire and walked to Gothdust's corner. Everyone
thought it was to help him out, but when Crowbar hit a spinkick on Gothdust that sent him to
the outside, we found out why they were there.
Kane picked Gothdust up and then dropped him again in the Tombstone piledriver as Gangrel put
off the referee on the other side of the ring. Gothdust was thrown back in and then Crowbar
finished him off with the Inverted DDT.**

No-Time-Limit-Match:
Edge pinned Big Boss Man with the Downward Spiral in 0:03:01.
Rating: 1/4*
**The Boss Man won his first match in a long while at SummerSlam, but his winning streak ended
as quickly as it started as Edge defeated him with a great move.
Boss Man went to work with the Night stick before the match to soften up Edge and it worked
as when the match finally started, Edge was in bad shape. Boss Man hit Edge with several
moves and signaled for the Sidewalk Slam, but when he picked up Edge, he got caught in the
Downward Spiral. Edge got the pin with only one move and after the match, the Boss Man went
backstage armed with his Nightstick looking for revenge.**
No-Time-Limit-Match:
The Acolytes defeated Too Cool when Faarooq pinned Scotty with the Spinebuster
in 0:15:32.
Rating: 1/2*
**Poor match that saw the Acolytes get back in the tag team title hunt with a win against the
talented Too Cool. The APA had several moments of mis-communication and almost lost the
match after five minutes when Grandmaster Sexay ducked and Faarooq felt the Clothesline from
Hell by Bradshaw. Bradshaw had to fight by himself for several minutes as Faarooq tried to
shake out the cobwebs from the Lariet. This gave Too Cool an advantage for a while and after
a Too Hot Drop, Faarooq broke up the pin and all four men where in the ring. Faarooq hit the
Dominator on Sexay on the outside as Scotty hit a devistating Bulldog on Bradshaw. Scotty
then went for the worm but as he faced the opposite direction, Faarooq dived in and hit him
with a bonecrushing Spinebuster as he hopped around to finish off Bradshaw. Three seconds
later and Faarooq had got the win for his team.**
No-Time-Limit-Match:
Tazz pinned Davey Boy Smith after a Northern Lights suplex in 0:09:06.
Rating: *** 3/4
**Tazz was more intense then he had been in previous weeks. Tazz didn't just hit the Bulldog
with Tazplex's but he also should a roughneck type style as he nailed some stiff shots to the
temple of the Bulldog.
But this match wasn't completely one sided as Bulldog was more then a match for Tazz and was
able to use a few suplexes of his own to rock Tazz. After a 10 second delay vertical suplex,
the Bulldog went for the Running Powerslam but Tazz managed to get lose and pushed Bulldog
chest first, into the corner post. As Bulldog staggered out, Tazz got him in a waist lock and
took him down with a Northern Lights Tazplex to get the win.**

No-Time-Limit-Four Corners Match:
The Hardy Boyz defeated T & A with Head, Allied Powers (Christian/Kurt Angle)
and The Dudley Boys:
x Christian beat Buh Buh via a crucifix in 0:05:21
x M. Hardy beat Snow via a flying elbowdrop in 0:08:46
x M. Hardy beat Christian via the Twist of Fate in 0:12:31
Rating: **
(The Hardy Boyz won the WWF Tag Team Champions.)
**The Dudley Boys have to be disappointed in this as they lose the tag belts that they managed
to win, just one day ago at SummerSlam. The Allied Powers of Angle & Christian worked well
together in the opening minutes of this contest and after Christian countered a press slam
into a crucifix on Buh Buh, they looked like they could win it.
But then the Hardy Boyz stepped up another level and took control with some hard offence.
After Snow hit the Snowplow on Jeff Hardy and went for the pin, it looked like it was over
but a flying elbowdrop by Matt not only broke it up but was enough to get the pin. Meanwhile
Test was busy with the Allied Powers and when he heard the announcement he was stunned!
The final fall was full of offense by both teams as Christian proved he was just as capable
as Matt & Jeff to make high risk moves.
Eventually though, Matt Hardy did catch Christian in the Twist of Fate and got the pin as
Kurt Angle hit the Olympic Slam on Jeff Hardy as the action went on behind his back.**
No-Time-Limit-Match with Special Referee Sol Doubt:
Steve Austin pinned Rikishi Phatu with the Stone Cold Stunner in 0:04:21.
Rating: DUD
**Stone Cold with Ted DiBiase, continued his reign of terror as he took out Rikishi Phatu in a
matter of minutes. Austin was more vicious then he had ever been in the past and it seems as
though, the Million Dollar Man, has opened up something in Austin that even he didn't know he
had. Phatu tried his best to beat the Rattlesnake but after the Million Dollar Referee came
out for the match, he was never going to win.
As Phatu argued with Mr. Doubt, Austin waited and as Rikishi turned, he pounced with a Stunner
and a fast count by Sol Doubt.**
No-Time-Limit-Handicap-Match:
The Corporation (Chris Benoit and Hunter Hearst Helmsley) and Gangrel defeated
Chris Jericho and Rocky Maivia when Helmsley pinned Maivia with the Pedigree in 0:13:22.
Rating: ** 3/4
(Ken Shamrock no-showed.)
**It looks like SummerSlam didn't solve anything between Shamrock and Tazz. As Shamrock came
down the aisle to begin the match, Tazz ran out and applied the Tazmission on him from behind.
By the time that the Rock and Jericho had come down to help it was to late and as Tazz walked
away laughing it seemed obvious that this was going to be another Corporation plan.
From there the match had to become a Handicap match and despite the odds, Y2J & Rock held
their own.
Until of course, the Corporation's plan B came into effect. Earl Hebner was deliberatly
knocked to the outside by Benoit. Then all five men went at it for a while until the Boss#
Man and Saturn both ran out to help the Corporation.
The five on two assult continued and when the Million Dollar Referee, Sol Doubt walked down
it was obvious that Shane used every resource he could find in this match.
A double chair shot on Jericho by Benoit and Shane McMahon, knocked the champion out, then
a Nightstick to the back of the Rock's head staggered him into Triple H, who hit the Pedigree.
Then Sol Doubt counted the three and awarded the match to the Corporation and Gangrel as
Shane McMahon held up Jericho's world title with a smug grin on his face.
