No-Time-Limit-Number-One-Contenders-Four Corners Match:
Crowbar defeated Essa Rios, Marty Jannetty and Grandmaster Sexay:
x Rios beat Jannetty via the Moonsault in 0:04:15
x Grandmaster Sexay beat Rios via the Hip Hop Drop in 0:07:08
x Crowbar beat Grandmaster Sexay via the Inverted DDT in 0:10:12
Rating: 3/4*
**Crowbar picks up the win and a chance to face the Lightweight Champion at Summer Slam. The
match was full of fast paced action from start to finish. Essa Rios looked like the favourite
coming into this match and after he eliminated Marty Jannetty, it looked like coming true.
But Grandmaster managed to eliminate Rios after Essa missed the moonsault on Crowbar. But in
the end it was Crowbar who won after Gangrel came running down and attacked Sex-ay behind the
ref's back leading to the Inverted DDT from Crowbar to take the match.**
No-Time-Limit-Match:
Gangrel pinned Scotty Too Hotty with the Impaler in 0:12:32.
Rating: **
**Second match of the night saw the leader of the Brood pick up yet another win over Too Cool.
But as it was against Billy Gunn on Smackdown, it took the distraction from Gothdust on the
referee for Hell Fire to come in and destroy Scotty.
But this time it didn't quite work as Billy Gunn and Rikishi Phatu managed to fight off Hell
Fire before they could hit the Chokeslam/Headbutt finisher.
They had done more then enough though as Gangrel was able to drill Too Hotty with his finisher
as Gunn/Rikishi and Hell Fire fought on the outside.**
No-Time-Limit-Match:
Hell Fire defeated Too Cool (Rikishi Phatu and Billy Gunn) when Bigelow pinned
Billy Gunn with the Greetings from Asbury Park in 0:11:07.
Rating: 3/4*
**As soon as the Gangrel/Scotty match ended, Gunn grabbed the mic and challenged Hell Fire to a
tag team match. The match got off to a good start as Phatu and Kane seemed evenally matched
but it was only a matter of time before the rest of the Brood group got involved.
Gangrel and Gothdust sprinted down when it apeared as though Gunn had the match won with a
Fame-Ass-Er on Kane. They caused Tim White to turn his back and Bam Bam came off the top with
a headbutt from the top.
Rikishi was double teamed by Gangrel/Gothdust as in the ring Gunn was nailed with a double
powerbomb before Bigelow finished off with the Greetings.**

No-Time-Limit-Match:
Kurt Angle pinned Val Venis with the The Olympic Slam in 0:08:05.
Rating: *** 1/4
**Excellent match between two of the WWF's new generation. Venis almost pulled off the win but
Angle's Intensity wouldn't let him give up. Trish Stratus also got involved in this one but
it backfired when Angle ducked and Trish nailed Venis with her shoe. Val went down almost
instantly and Kurt ducked another swing from Trish's shoe before knocking her outside before
he picked up Venis and hit the Olympic Slam.**
No-Time-Limit-Match:
Davey Boy Smith pinned Gothdust with the Running Powerslam in 0:08:35.
Rating: 1/2*
**Too Cool got some revenge over the Brood in this one as they helped the Allied Power's Bulldog
in this bout. The three original members of Too Cool came down the aisle and were cut off by
Gangrel and Hell Fire. But while this was taking place, Billy Gunn dived through the crowd
and hit the Fame-Ass-Er on Gothdust.
Gunn then helped up the Bulldog who subsequently went for the Running Powerslam to pick up the
win.**
No-Time-Limit-Match:
T & A with Head defeated Blood Brothers when Test pinned Edge after
a flying elbowdrop in 0:12:26.
Rating: ***
**So T&A get revenge on the Allied Powers from the Venis/Angle match up. The match was very
close as the former champs gave T&A a tough bout. Both teams came close time and time again
to pulling off the win. However some great double teaming on Edge took it's toll on him and
when Christian got shoved off the ring apron into the barriers, it was almost over.
T&A quickly took advantage of Christian's injury and nailed Edge with the SNOWDROP, which is
Al's Snowplow followed by Test's elbowdrop.**

D'Lo Brown pinned Tazz after hitting him with a fire extinguisher in 0:10:05.
D'Lo Brown injured his left knee. He will be out for approximately 4 cards.
Rating: ** 3/4
**Another match that saw interference. Tazz was controling this match with some great Tazplex
manouvers as usual. But he also made a mistake when he shoved the referee, Mike Kaeota, down
to the mat for preventing him from bringing a chair in the ring. D'Lo managed to dropkick
the chair into Tazz's face though before he could even use it. D'Lo then went to work with
some huge offence and went up for his Lo-Down.
BUT Tazz managed to roll out of the way as D'Lo lept and Brown went crashing to the mat and
appeared to land badly on his knee.
With the referee and both men down, it looked like a no-contest was going to come about but
Saturn came down the aisle armed with a fire extinguisher. Tazz staggered to his feet and
went towards Saturn who was on the apron with the extinguisher. It looked like it was a plan
and Tazz was going to finish off D'Lo with the object but Brown got up and shoved Tazz from
behind. Tazz fell into Saturn and the extinguisher went flying into D'Lo's hands. D'Lo then
smashed the extinguisher on Tazz's head as he turned around and went for the cover as Mike
Kaeota dragged himself over for the count.**
No-Time-Limit-Match:
The Hardy Boyz and Ken Shamrock defeated The Acolytes and Saturn when M. Hardy
pinned Faarooq with the Twist of Fate in 0:09:09.
Rating: ** 1/2
**Good match which saw the Hardyz and Acolytes dominate most of this match as the IC and Euro
champs seemed more content to stay on the outside.
The match turned into a regular tag match after five minutes as Tazz came down and began
brawling with Shamrock and D'Lo did the same with Saturn.
The Hardyz just pulled of the win though after Bradshaw got knocked flying to the outside from
a joint dropkick combination from Matt & Jeff leaving Faarooq alone for the Twist of Fate.**

No-Time-Limit-Non-Title-Match:
Rocky Maivia pinned Crash Holly with the Rock Bottom in 0:02:09.
Rating: * 1/2
**Easy match for the Rock as he took it to the HaRdCoRe champ in a non-title bout. Crash was
dominated immediatly and was lucky that no one took advantage of his 24/7 rule afterwards
because he had no chance to retain.
The big story is though that the Rock has decided not to face the winner of the Benoit/HHH
match on Smackdown for the Summer Slam title shot. Instead he's going to face Ted DiBiase's
mystery man after Ted was furious with Rock for not wanting to join his new Million Dollar
Group.**
No-Time-Limit-Match:
The Legion Of Doom defeated Foreign Fanatics (Shoichi Funaki and Taka Michinoku)
when Hawk pinned Funaki after the Doomsday Device in 0:05:28.
Rating: *
(The Legion Of Doom retained the WWF Tag Team Champions.)
**The Fanatics probably should have stayed at home today. As if getting beat down by T & A
and the Allied Powers wasn't enough, they were demolished by the LOD in this tag team match.
Hawk & Animal had the match won after a few seconds but they used it as an opportunity to show
off and seemed more cocky then before.
After hitting the Doomsday Device on Taka twice and on Funaki three times they went for a pin
by placing the foot on the chest of Funaki.**

No-Time-Limit-Non-Title-Match:
Chris Jericho made Eddie Guerrero submit to the The Walls Of Jericho in 0:16:16.
Rating: *** 1/2
**The lightweight and Heavyweight champions faced each other here in a match that Jericho said
Guerrero deserved to have. Jericho gave him the title shot because of Eddie's sucessful title
defences for the Lightweight belt in recent weeks.
Jericho might have regreted giving him the match as Eddie almost came away with the win on a
number of occassions.
Not only did Guerrero hit Jericho with superb manouvers such as a leaping hurricanrana off the
ropes and an airplan spin into a neckbreaker, but he also took a huge sum of punishment and
kicked out of several Asai-Moonsaults and even the double powerbomb.
Eventually though, Guerrero went for the hurricanrana again but Jericho was ready and snatched
his legs in mid air to convert it into the Walls Of Jericho. Eddie held on for a while but he
was right in the centre of the ring and decided to tap out rather then have his leg's snapped
and forfeit his belt.**
No-Time-Limit-No-Countout-No-DQ-Number-One-Contenders-Match with Special Referee Mick Foley:
Hunter Hearst Helmsley and Chris Benoit battled to a draw in 0:11:07.
Rating: ***
**Mick Foley didn't play favourites in this one. No he beat the holy hell out of both Corporate
men. Foley wouldn't count the falls from Benoit or Helmsley during the match and he seemed
determained that no-one from Shane's stable would get a title shot against Jericho, as with
the Rock pulling out of the no#1 contender match for Smackdown, this had become the match for
the said title shot.
Foley did make a count though after Helmsley drilled Benoit with the Pedigree, he nailed HHH
with the Double Arm DDT and began to count both men down.
Benoit got up on eight but Foley hit him with a Double Arm DDT as well to the delight of the
capacity crowd and continued the count from nine....then TEN!
Foley then announced it was a double knockout and was a draw.**
