WWF LIGHTWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
DYNAMITE (C) Vs. REY MISTERIO Jr. Vs. JUVENTUD GUERRERA Vs. K-KWIK
We open with explosive action in a fatal fourway match for the Lightweight championship. All
four men fought all over the ring and to the outside in their quest to walk out as champion.
The first fall came after K-Kwik and the masked Misterio worked together to send Dynamite to
the outside with a double dropkick. They then knocked Juvy down with a double powerbomb, but
when K-Kwik went up top for a top rope finish, Rey pushed him. Rey then gave a Frankensteiner
to K-Kwik off the top for the fall.
Straight from the fall, Dynamite re-entered and went to work on Rey Misterio with a Snap Suplex
that left Rey open for a Diving Headbutt attempt. He hit the Headbutt and Rey was eliminated.
So down to Dynamite and Juvy and the action speed up again as neither man could find the killer
blow in the match. Juvy came close after a Springboard Tornado DDT from the apron but Dynamite
managed to pop the shoulder up.
The ending came after Juvy attempted a top rope body block, Dynamite dropkicked him in mid-air
and set him up for the Snap Suplex. Only for Juvy to block and convert it into the Juvy Driver
to become the new Lightweight Champion.
Juventud Guerrera defeated Dynamite, K-Kwik and Rey Misterio Jr.:
x Misterio Jr. beat K-Kwik via a Top Rope Frankensteiner in 0:10:20
x Dynamite beat Misterio Jr. via the Diving Headbutt in 0:10:57
x J. Guerrera beat Dynamite via the Juvy Driver in 0:16:56
Rating: *** 1/2
(Juventud Guerrera won the WWF Lightweight Title.)

WWF HaRdCoRe CHAMPIONSHIP
KURT ANGLE (C) Vs. SABU
Kurt Angle came out for the match looking decidedly nervous as he awaited Sabu for this
HaRdCoRe match. Before he could even prepare the fight was underway as Sabu came out behind
Kurt from under the ring.
Sabu nailed Kurt with a chair to the back and the fight was on. Sabu controlled Kurt Angle in
this domain as Angle seemed uncomfortable throughout the bout. Sabu came close to winning the
match after the Triple Jump Moonsault but Crash, Test, Saturn, Sandman and K-Kwik all came
running out to use the 24/7 stipulation.
All six men battled it out as they tried to get at Kurt Angle. As Angle tried to escape Test
cut him off and brought him back into the ring. Test was about to put Angle through a table
with the Pumphandle Slam when Sabu nailed him with a dustbin lid.
Test went to the outside and Sabu turned back to Kurt Angle, but ended up being Olympic Slammed
through the table by the HaRdCoRe champion. Kurt got the cover and the pin and ran out of the
ringside area before anyone could try again.
Kurt Angle defeated Sabu by putting him through a table in 0:13:00.
Rating: **
(Kurt Angle retained the WWF HaRdCoRe Title.)

**As the European Champion, Billy Gunn stands in the ring awaiting Scott Hall, we hear
"Mankind Wreck" play as Commissioner Mick Foley walks out holding a microphone.**
GUNN - What's going on here, where the hell is Hall?
MICK - I've been asked by Scott Hall to say that Hall won't be wrestling you in this ladder
       match tonight.
GUNN - Fine, so I'm still champion? You've got a replacement, what?
MICK - Well actually, Hall said that he wasn't going to compete because he had a better person
       for you to face.
This man helped put ladder matches on the map after he had two classic battles with
       Shawn Michaels.
GUNN - Hmm....That was Scott Hall!!!
MICK - Wrong!

**Screech......Razor Ramon's music hits as Scott Hall steps out dressed as Da Bad Guy!**
MICK - ...It wasn't Scott Hall in those ladder matches. It was Razor Ramon and he's your
       opponent.
RAZR - Hey yo! One, Billy Gunn. Your time is up, that title belongs to me. So chico, whatcha
gonna do when I carve you UP!

WWF EUROPEAN TITLE
LADDER MATCH
BILLY GUNN (C) Vs. RAZOR RAMON
What a match by both men as they fought for the European title in a ladder match. Although
technically Gunn was still facing Scott Hall, he didn't seem prepared for Razor Ramon and
early on he was beaten from pillar to post by Da Bad Guy.
Gunn almost got the title though after Razor was backdropped to the outside, barely missing the
ring steps. But Razor was able to return to the ring and pushed the ladder over before Gunn
was able to get a firm grasp on the title belt.
The battle continued to go back-and-forth for a further ten minutes with both men coming within
a finger tip of pulling the title down.
Eventually Razor had enough and pulled a second ladder out from under the ring and threw it at
the One as he made another attempt for the title belt causing Gunn to slip but not fall off of
the ladder.
Razor then finished off Billy Gunn with the Razor's Edge from halfway up the first ladder onto
the second ladder which was folded up and laid on the mat. Razor then slowly climbed the
ladder and pulled down the European Championship as Billy Gunn lay in a heap on the second
ladder.
Razor Ramon defeated Billy Gunn in 0:22:35.
Rating: ***
(Razor Ramon won the WWF European Title.)

WWF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
LATINO HEAT (C) Vs. THE DUDLEY BOYS
Latino Heat came into this match as huge underdogs despite being the reigning champions. The
Dudley Boys were expected to walk away with this match but it wasn't as easy as they expected.
Although D-Von and Buh Buh Ray controled a lot of the match, Eddie Guerrero and Essa Rios just
refused to stay down and fought back time and time again to keep their title straps.
The ending came after the 3-D onto Essa Rios, Buh Buh made the cover but the referee was busy
trying to get D-Von Dudley out of the ring. This gave Eddie Guerrero an opening and he hit
the Frog Splash off the top rope onto Buh Buh AND his own partner Essa Rios.
D-Von was bad mouthing the crowd and didn't realise what was happening until the music of the
Latino Heat played.
Following this D-Von ran into the ring and went to work on Eddie Guerrero as both their tag
partners were still out. D-Von hit the Jumping Reverse DDT and then did the war-dance as
brother Buh Buh got back up.
The Dudleys eventually left but not before putting both members of the Latino Heat through
tables.
Latino Heat defeated The Dudley Boys when E. Guerrero pinned Buh Buh with the Frog Splash in
0:10:04.
Rating: *
(Latino Heat retained the WWF Tag Team Champions.)

FOR DeGENERATION X RIGHTS
THE CLIQ (Michaels/Syxx) Vs. DeGENERATION X (Nash/HHH)
A surprisingly quick match considering the talent involved. Syxx & Michaels tagged in and out
on Kevin Nash for all of the match as Triple H was stuck on the apron.
Nash tried to fight back but the team work was too much. Nash did reverse a HBK bodyblock into
a version of a powerbomb but when he went for the tag, Triple H dropped off the ring apron so
he couldn't tag out.
Kevin Nash was confused and moved for Shawn Michaels who was getting slowly back up. Triple H
re-entered the ring and delivered a boot downstairs to Big Sexy which dropped him to one knee.
Helmsley then shouted finish him to Michaels and left the ring again. HBK looked puzzled but
hit the Sweet Chin Music on Kevin Nash anyway for the win.
After the match, Shawn Michaels and Syxx looked at each other wondering what just happened
between their opponents.
The Cliq (Shawn Michaels and Syxx) defeated Degeneration X (Triple H and Kevin Nash) when
Michaels pinned Nash with the Superkick in 0:07:43.
Rating: * 3/4

WWF INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP
TRIPLE THREAT MATCH
CHRIS BENOIT (C) Vs. KEN SHAMROCK Vs. CHRIS JERICHO
The intercontinental triple threat match was the match of the night. This highly anticipated
match saw all three men going at it inside and outside the ring.
It was almost impossible for anyone to make a pin as the other man was always ready to break
up the pinfall attempt or submission hold.
Even when Ken Shamrock snapped and put Jericho through the Spanish announce table, it looked
like we'd have a winner. Shamrock ran back into the ring and right into the Crippler Crossface
but he managed to get to the ropes after almost 40 seconds in the hold.
Benoit came close to losing as well after he argued with the referee about that decision and
ended up in the Ankle Lock Submission. But Chris Jericho made the save for Benoit by pulling
Shamrock off and into the Walls of Jericho.
Jericho had Shamrock in the centre of the ring in the Walls of Jericho but Benoit hadn't been
beaten yet. He dropped Jericho with a Bulldog and went to the top rope.
The Crippler hit the Diving Headbutt on Chris Jericho and almost knocked himself out. Benoit
crawled over to make the cover but Ken Shamrock grabbed his leg and pulled him towards himself
to apply the Ankle Lock Submission.
Shamrock had it locked in the centre of the ring and with Jericho still down from the Swandive
Headbutt, it was just a matter of time before Chris Benoit tapped out to give Shamrock the
Intercontinental Championship.
Ken Shamrock defeated Chris Jericho and Chris Benoit when Shamrock made Benoit submit to the
Ankle Lock Submission in 0:15:35.
Rating: ****
(Ken Shamrock won the WWF Intercontinental Title.)

**"Mankind Wreck" plays as Commissioner Foley comes out again. He enters the ring and signals
for quiet from the capacity crowd.**
MICK - It's time for the seven team Battle Royal match. Now I'm guessing that Shane will bring
his team out soon, so I decided that before I bring out my team. I'm going to make a
       little change to this bout.
The winner of this match will become the NO#1 contenders for the WWF Tag Team titles.
So by the end of tonight the new no#1 contenders will be either the Hardy Boys, The
Holly Cousins, Edge & Bull, StratusPhere, the Fallen or AL SNOW AND CHAVO GUERRERO!!

**The Cactus Jack theme plays as Al Snow comes out followed by Chavo Guerrero Jr. Both men
enter the ring and shake hands with Mick Foley.**

**"No Chance - Agression Remix" hits as Shane McMahon comes out at the top of the ramp.**
SHNE - So Foley, you seem confident in your team to make this a number one contendership match.
       Well that suits me fine.
You see my team are destined for greatness and you've just helped them achieve it a lot
       quicker.
Al Snow, Chavo, Foley......prepare to meet your.....well actually my DOOM!!
**Two big and muscular men come out from behind the curtain. They look fairly familiar.**

SHNE - Behold Crush and Wrath.....DOOM!
**DOOM rush to the ring and the fight begins between DOOM and SNOW/CHAVO. Mick Foley slides
out of the ring as the other five teams all run down as well and the match begins.**

TAG TEAM BATTLE ROYAL
DOOM Vs. HARDYS Vs. HOLLYS Vs SNOW/CHAVO Vs.
STRATUSPHERE Vs. FALLEN Vs. MDGROUP (Edge/Bull)
The arrival of Crush and Wrath did indeed spell out DOOM for the tag teams in this match as
these two monsters destoryed the teams.
First eliminated was StratusPhere after Venis ran right into a Double Big Boot from Wrath &
Crush. Val was military pressed to the outside and Saturn had to follow.
On the other side of the ring, Christian was trying to get the Bull out but Edge came along
and pulled Christian off. Christian then was thrown over the top by Edge meaning that the
Fallen had to leave.
Mick Foley's team where the next to be eliminated after Hardcore Bob Holly hit a perfect
dropkick to the face of Al Snow that sent him to the outside.
Just seconds later it was Bull who was eliminated when Matt Hardy caught him in the Twist of
Fate and then was able to push him outside with a little help from Crash.
Down to three teams and the Hardys went to work on Wrath while Crush was being double teamed
by the Hollys. This tactic was working perfectly until Crash saw an opportunity and pushed
Jeff Hardy from behind to eliminate Matt & Jeff Hardy.
The Hollys were then punished by this mistake as Crash turned around into a Pumphandle Slam
from Wrath. Hardcore Holly was next after he was given a Double Chokeslam.
Doom then added insult to the Hollys by simaltaniously eliminating them on opposite sides of
the ring.
Doom defeated The Hardy Boys, The Hollys, StratusPhere, Snow/Chavo, The Fallen and M.D.GROUP

Order of Elimination
1 : Val Venis was thrown out by Wrath in 0:03:04.
2 : Christian was thrown out by Edge 0:05:12.

4 : Bull Buchanan was thrown out by Matt Hardy and Crash 0:06:48.

**We cut to a video package to the tune of Enter the Sandman by Metalica.
We open with Sandman's debut by caning Mick Foley from behind during the main event
from Smackdown 8th Feb.
Next we go to RAW 12th Feb when Mick Foley was found beaten and bloody. Sandman is then
shown attacking several WWF superstars, Al Snow, Kurt Angle and Chavo Guerrero Jr.
Fast forward to Mick Foley's return and him attacking the Sandman in the ring and ending
up beating the hell out of him.
Then we cut to Michael Cole who is backstage with Mick Foley.**

COLE - So Mick, in just a moments time, you'll face a man that tried to put you out of the WWF.
MICK - And I'm going to kick his ass all the way from this arena back to XPW. I don't care
where he comes from, he does NOT come into my backyard and think he can take me on.
COLE - What about the fact that he's calling himself the Hardcore Icon.
MICK - Well that's bullsh!t for a start. Everyone knows that I'm the only hardcore Icon in the
WWF and after tonight, he'll finally realise that.

MICK FOLEY Vs. THE SANDMAN
Mick Foley came out ready for this match and the Sandman was punished by the Commissioner, who
proved that although he's retired from full in-ring competition, he's still one of the best
in the business.
The ending came after Mick Foley tried to take the Sandman with a Double Arm DDT. Sandman
pushed Foley away and into referee, Tim White who was flattened in the corner.
As soon as Tim White was knocked down, Shane McMahon ran out from the back followed by his new
tag team, Doom. He ordered them to get Mick Foley and they did just that.
Foley was dominated by these two men and given the Double Chokeslam move twice along with a
Double Powerbomb onto a steel chair. Doom then slide out of the ring as the Sandman made the
cover.
Tim White slowly crawled over and counted......one.......two.......thr...shoulder up! Shane
couldn't believe it and neither could the Sandman. Shane reached under the ring and pulled
out the Singapore Cane.
Shane threw the cane into the Sandman who was able to use it on Mick Foley's skull as the WWF
Commissioner got up. Tim White hadn't seen any of it as he was still trying to shake the
cobwebs out. Sandman made the cover again and this time he got the pinfall.
The Sandman pinned Mick Foley after hitting him with the Singapore Cane in 0:16:07.

**We go to another video promo this time it's Highway to Hell by AC/DC.
The clips show Austin in various matches since his return with DiBiase and highlight
his title loss to the Rock at the ROYAL RUMBLE.
Action then turns to show Chris Benoit winning the ROYAL RUMBLE for the WM title shot
and then Tazz winning the NO WAY OUT title shot.
DiBiase is shown offering briefcases of money to both men and only Benoit accepting.
Action then turns to Foley's return night.**
MICK - Ok, I'll give you another chance at the title. At NO WAY OUT, you will face the man who
was eliminated last in the ROYAL RUMBLE. Yes, you will be facing KANE!!
**Kane's seven eliminations from the RUMBLE are shown along with his wins over the
last few weeks. Several of them are pins over Austin in tag teams.**
MICK - What better match for you to face Kane then a HELL IN THE CELL match.
**The action picks up and shows more attacks by Kane & Austin with a mix of old matches
with each doing the finisher on the other.**

HELL IN THE CELL
STEVE AUSTIN Vs. KANE
A brutal match as you'd expect from a Hell in the Cell match. Austin was the agressor in the
first five minutes before he realised that he wasn't having much effect on the Big Red Machine.
Kane then proceeded to beat the fight out of Austin which included throwing him out of the
ring and into the cell walls. This caused the wall to give way and Austin tried to escape by
climbing to the top of the Cell.....BIG MISTAKE!
Kane followed Austin to the top of the Cell and the fight continued up there as Austin was no
longer trying to win the match but stop Kane dropping him off the top.
A low blow by Austin followed by the Sell Out Stunner finally kept Kane down and he made the
cover on top of the cell. But Earl Hebner was still in the ring.
Austin was furious and shouted at Earl to climb the cell. By now Kane was back up so Austin
hit a second Sell Out Stunner as Hebner had reached half way.
Hebner finally got to the top but Kane got the shoulder up. Steve Austin was pi$$ed off and
threatened to throw Hebner off the Cell. Hebner shoved Austin back though and Steve Austin
went for the Sell Out Stunner on the head referee.
But Kane grabbed Austin by the throat before he could execute it and hit the Chokeslam from
Hell. Kane then used the Tombstone on to the barbed wire roof to keep Austin down.
The big red machine made the pin and Earl Hebner fast counted the pinfall. Kane goes to
WRESTLEMANIA X7!
Kane defeated Steve Austin in a Hell In A Cell by pinfall after the Tombstone
in 0:17:15.

WWF HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
THE ROCK (C) Vs. TAZZ
Main event time saw Tazz come very close to winning the WWF Heavyweight Championship as the
Rock was outclassed by the suplex machine. The Rock didn't look like the champion in this one
as Tazz sent him from one side of the ring to the other with his Tazplexes.
But the Rock is more used to longer matches then Tazz and the tide began to go in his favour
after the ten minute mark. The Rock hit a float over DDT onto Tazz to begin the change in
momentum.
Tazz was on the defensive as the Rock stepped up a gear and took Tazz down with a running
clothesline. Both men fell to the outside when the Rock hit a second one and the fight carried
on outside.
It then moved into the crowd as the Rock suplexed Tazz over the barrier. Tazz and the Rock
started slugging it out in the crowd as they fought to regain control, but once again it was
the Rock who had the edge and sent Tazz crashing into the barrier again. But this time when
Rock ran at Tazz, he ducked and backdropped the champion over it and to the outside of the
ring.
Both men fought outside some more and Tazz dropped the Rock with a head and leg Tazplex. Tazz
rolled the Rock in the ring and made the cover but the Rock kicked out.
Tazz tried to get the Tazmission on but the Rock kept fighting out of it, until the Rock sent
him off the ropes for the Samoan drop. Tazz reversed it and ended up behind the Rock where he
was able to put the Tazmission onto the champion.
The Rock was fading fast and in a last boost of effort he managed to escape by running backwards
into the corner.
Both men where down, with the Rock having the worst of the punishment. Referee, Teddy Long had
reached eight on the countdown before Tazz got back to his feet. Tazz saw the Rock down and
signaled for the end.
As the Rock staggered back up, Tazz stayed back biding his time. Rock turned around and Tazz
grabbed him for the Head & Arm Tazplex.
The Rock still had some left though and gave a low-blow to Tazz to release the Head & Arm
Tazplex attempt. Before Tazz could react the Rock was able to use the chance to catch him in
the Rock Bottom which left both men on the mat.
Rock lay still for a few seconds from exhaustion before rolling over and placing an arm over
the chest of Tazz. One......two.......three! The Rock retains the title in a hard fought
match.
The Rock pinned Tazz with the Rock Bottom in 0:21:32.
Rating: ** 1/2
(The Rock retained the WWF Heavyweight Title.)
